How often "plates" are discussed here.

Just a point of interest. If you type in "plates" to the search bar at the top of this page there are 585 pages of discussion history on this board on this topic.
I know that for some that's a big "so what" and "don't you have anything to add?"
Well, I did, along with others on those 585 pages. I think pious fraud may have come up a few times also. Isn't it interesting how the same sorts of things are recycled year after year...maybe with a touch of make up/shadow added on here and there.
Rehash after rehash...with respect to those that are in the business of doing so.
Regards,
MG

Rehash?
Let's talk about Anubis's nose, shall we? Open a thread and see if that has been rehashed here on this board?
You, MG, are a coward and a wussy-boy. You're a Mormon liar.
I rebuke you.

No. That’s not what it means. It means there are 585 pages of posts where the word “plates” has been used in any and all contexts. As an example, if someone was discussing dinner plates, that would be included. As would discussions on the Kinderhook plates. Please start thinking about what you’re typing before you type it. It will prevent you from making more inaccurate assertions.

Well, I
Another thread all about MG.
Well, guess what?
Nobody really cares much about you.
So beat it.
Unless you want to talk about Anubis's nose?
Come on, you know you do! Let Shulem beat you up!

I did a search for "plates" on LDS.org (whoopsie, sorry, didn't mean to give a victory to Satan... churchofjesuschrist.org), and got 3,937 results, limiting the search only to pre-2000 content.
Curiously, Kinderhook only returned 3 results.
Mormons (dagnabbit, another victory for Satan... Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) seem to like rehashing the same thing over and over again. Well... some of the same things.

His post made me eject root beer out of my nose.
The lack of self-awareness is amusing... in the sort of way that watching monkeys throw poop at each other is amusing.

I don't know him well, but from what I've seen, he's just a boring garden variety troll looking for attention. He seems to get a lot of it around here. Personally, I don't feed trolls... for the same reasons I don't feed monkeys at the zoo who have poop in their hands ready to toss at me. Just sayin'.

I have made thousands of posts over the years on this board dealing with ideological differences and issues, including starting topical threads, which would indicate (to me anyway) long term participation framing LDS issues in my own particular interpretive ways, rather than simple hit and run trolling. I would define trolling as one who consistently and unabashedly follows someone around on a message board with the intent to cause inflammation of a thread through focusing on one person over and over and over again. And doing so because of a personal vendetta and personal animosity towards that person.
That is a troll. You talk about monkeys in a zoo with poop in their hands. I could point you in the right direction.
You or anyone else here can dislike the direction from which I approach those issues that are important to both you and me, but the fact is my contributions are coherent and persistent rather than content free as you and your fellow critics would like to paint them to be.
Regards,
MG

The long-time poster makes his stand. Persistence? Undeniable. Coherence? Apparently optional.
It does raise an interesting question though. If godhood involves increasing light, truth, and intelligibility, shouldn’t coherence become more evident over time?

Coherence should definitely be more evident, which is clearly not the same as the godhood applicant repeatedly shouting "dammit I'm coherent!!!" in an increasingly strident tone.
