That was a nice photo of Dr. Peterson. Was that taken as a promo for his upcoming Abraham in Egypt tour for Cruise Lady?

He's celebrating having been paid his entire life for teaching lies. Could it be the king's name in Facsimile No. 3 is: Cruise Lady? Wasn't it Nibley that said some of the boys in the pic were dressing up like girls? Now we know how Peterson spends his time.

Here's the last portion of what the Pope had to say in today's NYT:
If we are to come out of this crisis less selfish than when we went in, we have to let ourselves be touched by others’ pain. There’s a line in Friedrich Hölderlin’s “Hyperion” that speaks to me, about how the danger that threatens in a crisis is never total; there’s always a way out: “Where the danger is, also grows the saving power.” That’s the genius in the human story: There’s always a way to escape destruction. Where humankind has to act is precisely there, in the threat itself; that’s where the door opens.

This is a moment to dream big, to rethink our priorities — what we value, what we want, what we seek — and to commit to act in our daily life on what we have dreamed of.

God asks us to dare to create something new. We cannot return to the false securities of the political and economic systems we had before the crisis. We need economies that give to all access to the fruits of creation, to the basic needs of life: to land, lodging and labor. We need a politics that can integrate and dialogue with the poor, the excluded and the vulnerable, that gives people a say in the decisions that affect their lives. We need to slow down, take stock and design better ways of living together on this earth.

The pandemic has exposed the paradox that while we are more connected, we are also more divided. Feverish consumerism breaks the bonds of belonging. It causes us to focus on our self-preservation and makes us anxious. Our fears are exacerbated and exploited by a certain kind of populist politics that seeks power over society. It is hard to build a culture of encounter, in which we meet as people with a shared dignity, within a throwaway culture that regards the well-being of the elderly, the unemployed, the disabled and the unborn as peripheral to our own well-being.

To come out of this crisis better, we have to recover the knowledge that as a people we have a shared destination. The pandemic has reminded us that no one is saved alone. What ties us to one another is what we commonly call solidarity. Solidarity is more than acts of generosity, important as they are; it is the call to embrace the reality that we are bound by bonds of reciprocity. On this solid foundation we can build a better, different, human future.
What's missing from the LDS church is not so much prophecy -- it's leadership.

That too. The LDS Church is like a slick TV commercial that begs the world to accept them at Christians and to admit them into the Christian club. The problem for the Church these days in that respect in being Christian is not as glamorous or respected as it used to be. And if the Mormons are finally getting their wish of being regarded as Christians then it must be somewhat disappointing because as a whole Christianity has turned out to be a disappointment as Christians ever wait for the second coming which is never going to happen.

The prophecy of the coming of Christ failed long ago. The prophecy of the coming of Christ in the future is nothing more than wishful thinking, a dream. That's all the Church has to hold on to as it continues to call itself the "Latter-day Saint" church and left to wonder if another 200 years will pass without the return of Jesus to fill their hopes and dreams.

Despite only paying lip service to his own invitation, Nelson has been humbled by the response from members...
“I offered a message and prayer of gratitude for the world and everyone in it,” the leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints posted in a message on Twitter. “I am grateful and humbled that you would join in thanking God for His countless blessings to each of us. Thank you for your faith. #GiveThanks”

I wonder if Nelson was "humbled" by Uchtdorf's response which was (and still is) to completely ignore #GiveThanks and post nothing...

The campaign of being being assigned to "give thanks" has ended, so now what? Is God going to magically come down and relieve the suffering because so many Latter-day Saints obeyed their prophet and muttered speeches on the Internet about how they're so grateful? Nope. The pandemic will rage on until it has run its course. That is what pandemics do and the people will simply have to learn to cope -- God or no God -- learn to cope.

There is nothing NelSatan can do to stop the pandemic. His imaginary God is not going to do it for him. Not even that little idol he worships -- NelSatan is an idol worshipper. He looks at that little toy Jesus with glee in his eye.

I apologize, the above post may seem a bit random. This subject matter is more fully expressed up in the Celestial Forum where the new Church Logo is being dissected and President NelSatan's idolatry is being explored. You are welcome to join in the discussion or simply observe. New concepts are being introduced and it's going to get even more exciting! I have some things to present to the board, as I believe the Church is entering into a new stage of sanctioned idolatry.

Mormons suffer as Miracles dry up

Miraculous President Rusty!

Mormonism is a dead religion. Fake miracles and lack of revelation -- no vision. The Mormons are spiritually starved to see a REAL miracle or get a REAL revelation.

As of today, Covid-19, has spread nothing but suffering and Profit-Rusty is hiding from his failure to get REAL relief as the suffering continues:

UTAH................. 1,797 dead
IDAHO................ 1,806 dead
ARIZONA............. 14,981 dead

USA................... 500,190 dead

Rusty's faithless prayers and fasting have served absolutely nobody and have done nothing to relieve suffering. The Mormon Miracle is a joke. It's death and suffering.
