We had a pretty good discussion I think.
Especially the part where I got him to admit the priesthood ban was a mistake.

Have not gotten to that part yet. Did you trap him into this admission like some insidious DA's argument?consiglieri wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 4:47 pmEspecially the part where I got him to admit the priesthood ban was a mistake.

It was a nice piece of cross-examination, I admit.

Looking forward to listening to your skills.

Re: Kwaku on Mormonism Live!
I wonder how he squares that with the Aug 17, 1949 First Presidency Statement that the mistake was a "direct commandment from the Lord"? I heard the part where that he thinks Joseph Smith is the only one that Kwaku has to follow implicitly, something about Smith being one of 7 gods on a council for this dispensation. What value do the 15 Ps, Ss and Relief Society have then since 6/27/1844?consiglieri wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 4:47 pmWe had a pretty good discussion I think.

That was a very interesting moment and I sensed he was struggling with it just a little but was clinging to Joseph Smith as if he's the best prophet of all time. Little does sweet-Q know, Joseph Smith was in favor of slavery and would have maintained the priesthood ban which he initiated with his original doctrine of the Curse of Cain which his successors enforced.

The 7th god favored slavery and the Curse of Cain.
