The Efficiency of Procrastination

Post by _The Nehor »

Did it, rewrote a 30 page manual and did the research and wrote an 8 page research paper between the hours of 12am and now.

Procrastination is so efficient. If you give yourself little time to do something you do it faster out of necessity and hence tasks go faster.

Admittedly the total lack of sleep right now is making me wish I were dead but I can go to bed in 5 hours once I turn these stupid things in. They seem like works of genius but I'm going to make sure to not read them again on a full night's sleep....they might suck and I don't want to know that. If any of my posts last night or this one are incoherent I plead sleeplessness. Still, it makes me remember that I'm not too old when I can still pull an all-nighter :)

Here's hoping you get some sleep, Nehor. As we used to say on my mission: "Que sueñes con los ángeles."

I'm a big fan of procrastination as well. I work so much better under pressure and faced with a time crunch.

Maybe in my next job interview, I'll use that as one of my 'strengths'.

More dedicated than me, when teaching Gospel Doctrine or Priesthood I tend to preparation in Sacrament Meeting.
