Bigfoot found?

Now, this seems too good to be true, of course. There are rumors afloat that one or more of the discoverers was involved in some sort of deception or hoax in the past. If nothing else, I hope that the supposed body is displayed at the press conference this coming Friday for either confirmation or disconfirmation.

As for me, I was under the impression that Bigfoot, the Yeti, etc., if it/they exist, are holdout populations of Gigantopithecus Blackii that have survived until modern times. I thought that Gigantopithecus had enlarged canines, whereas the pictured specimen seems to be lacking them.

We'll see what happens.

Personally, I can't see crap in that picture. It looks like a Chewbacca costume with maybe some deer entrails thrown on it. I'll believe it when they publish their findings to a credible, peer-reviewed scientific journal. Also, the fact that the folks from http://www.searchingforbigfoot.com are now claiming that they found BigFoot sets off all kinds of warning lights for me.

In the mean time, maybe they could look for Batsquatch. I r afreyd of da Batsquatch.
