It's ironic you have to borrow from China to pay to a war. The collapse of the housing through the cheap loans in the US has effected us all. My super fund took negative growth and it was only China's demand for our minerals that stopped it from becoming worse. So my retirement funds will be reduced. Greed is good for some.
I was watching James Cone talking about the hanging tree (black lynchings). Brodie's bio of Jefferson seems to prove the Jefferson shacked up with one of his female slaves (sally Hemmings). The DNA evidence seems to show that (See PBS program).
At least our Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, has made an official apology to our indigenous people over the way they were treated. We don't go broke if we need urgent expensive health care. We have universal health care (OOOOOOhhh Socialized Health Care). We all pay 1.5% unless you opt out to private health insurance.

What does that have to do with anything I said?

Or that?

I could give examples of some of the more brutal things done to the Aborigines in your country, but honestly, I'd rather not get into a dick waving contest about whose country has oppressed which minorities the hardest. My point was that if you're going to criticize one nation of being wrong for having something bad in its history, it really doesn't look that great when your one nation has done the exact same thing.

Yeah, Jackson had a thing for dark meat. Old news.

Apologies are just words. When your country gets around to not treating racial minorities and aborigines like second class citizens or worse, then you have something meaningful to say.

You also have 20,000,000 citizens while we have over 300,000,000. Like I say to everyone else who mentions the lack of socialized medicine in the US, if you can figure out a way to pay for it that won't end up harming our economy or jepordizing our national security I'm all ears. Untill then you're just another person complaining about a problem without bothering to try and come up with a viable solution.

But in any case, way to miss the point of my last post, which was everything you said was more mindless "America sucks" whining that I can hear by strolling through the local Uni's liberal arts campus and probably get a much more informed and intelligent reason for why we suck so much.

Yes, the United States acts in its own best interests first. So does EVERY OTHER NATION ON EARTH, so that angle was nothing more then pointless whining.

Yes, the United States has a nice history of racism. So does your country. Difference is, we've at least taking proactive measures more meaningful then saying "gee, we're sorry about stealing your land, killing most of your people, and economically and politically disenfranchising the lot of you. Here's some beads and fire water to make up for it". So that angle was even more pointless whining with the added bonus of being hypocritical nonsense.

Always, Angus. You don't become entrenched in the personal vendettas as others do here. I like your posts and I like your online personality.

If you happen to be our former Mr. Coffee, I say everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance if they want to participate.

It's the creepy stalkers I am opposed to.

Jersey, Coffee made a complete fool of yourself, which was quite easy. You claimed to recognize the symptoms of PTSD, which you learned from your husband, and were completely fake. You swallowed every idiotic story Coffee told, and defended his aberrant behavior. You looked very, very stupid, and seem to have learned nothing. You can forgive all you like, but if you think his opinions are intelligent and his past antics understandable… no wonder the US academic system is in so much trouble.

Anyone else see this from an interview with Rick Warren?

"TAPPER: Would you have compunctions about voting for someone who had cheated on his wife?

WARREN: Absolutely I would. Absolutely I would. Because if you can’t keep your faith to your most sacred vow – “’til death do us part” -- how in the world can I trust you to lead my family? My government? My nation?...Absolutely I would. I think people first need to ask forgiveness and then earn trust back over time. Can trust be re-earned? Absolutely but it takes time."

John McCain never 'asked forgiveness' for his adultery. Why does he get a free pass from Mr. Warren?

McCain apparently knew the questions before they were asked (which is obvious from the part about 'getting back to Supreme Court justices'). What's with this double standard?

Huh?

Your opinion of me is none of my business nor is it of interest to me. Your obnoxious stalking of people online is disruptive and as for coffee, nobody gives a damn about it and that includes me.

People online are quite able to fake conditions, your attempts to fake sanity, are a glaring example of that. I would far rather be wrong about a person that I don't know, than be one who spends time hunting down links to use to berate strangers.

Hijacked topic

As long as this thread's been hijacked into outing people, I might as well state that SUAS is probably the poster known as Coffee Cat--no relation to Mr. Coffee or Angus McAwesome or Senator Obama.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.
