Iraqi WMDs

Post by _richardMdBorn »

EA recently made a post asserting that I believed that WMDs were shipped to Syria prior to Gulf War 2 (which I still believe). Here's an interesting article on uranium being removed from Iraq.
The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program — a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium — reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" — the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment — was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.

I remember numerous testimonies at the start of Gulf War 2 about how many people had watched all of the weapons being shipped over to Syria. If my memory serves me it was given by people assigned to watch just this sort of thing.

If anyone has any interest in how Syria feels about the US, just watch the recently released "Where in ther World is Osama Bin Laden". The Iraqis and Iranians were downright friendly to us compared to these people. The Syrians were seething with hatred towards us.

Plus, I think they were somewhat bitter towards us for shutting off their illegal oil pipeline that Saddam had ran to their country.

sheesh
What is the point of this? Desperate history rewriting designed to justify 90,000 civilian deaths and the BS fed to us by the Bush admin?
