Well, since that's not a law, but part of the US Constitution, it would take another constitutional amendment to change it -- a very large hurdle.

In my view, anchor babies should not be citizens. Why not define it how they do in other countries that don't have an anchor baby problem. Your parents have to be citizens.

I've posted on this subject in the past, producing numerous academic studies that show the existence of illegal immigration provides an overall boon for the economy, not a drain. Of course there are exceptions, but overall illegal immigration helps the economy. Just think of all the money these people pay into Social Security but will never be able to get back. Just think of all the products we can buy cheaply because of illegal immigration.
