In Hungarian, the language expresses this correctly.

The "~ság, ~ség" suffix in general is the equivalent of ~ness in English.
- additionally -
(a) Creates nouns of a collective type from nouns
hely 'place' + /-ség/ > helység 'community, village, town'
(b) Can create abstract nouns as well
anya 'mother' + /-ság/ > anyaság 'motherhood'
egész 'whole' + /-ség/ > egészség 'health'
szent 'saint' + /-ség/ > szentség 'holiness, sanctity'
