More recently, after Tuesday's election results came in, real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump called for "revolution!" and urged his 1.8 million Twitter followers to "march on Washington and stop this travesty."
He further called on them to "fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice," while proclaiming the country was now in "serious and unprecedented trouble...like never before." Trump has since deleted the revolution missive.
Post noted that Trump was at the forefront of the so-called "birther movement," which falsely claims Obama wasn't born in the United States, so he wasn't surprised to see Trump sound off, but "the intensity of that was rather shocking."

Are you going to claim that you have never heard anyone else claim they will move if their preferred candidate doesn't win? I hear it every 4 years. Maybe you aren't paying attention.

We were talking about this last night as the numbers were coming in. I tend to think that celebrities make the mistake of thinking that they have the power to influence us. The way I look at it, they work for me when I feel like paying them to do a job. Otherwise, who cares what they do?

I might be just a tad bit cynical in that regard. Not that it shows.

Something I could do better myself for sure. My respect for Trump is beyond measure at this point. The amount of abuse this man took to take back many of the rights we had lost as American citizens would have overwhelmed me. I was broken just from the abuse I took fighting on this board anonymously.
