Trump has suggested that the Bible be taught in schools. An interesting response in the Atlantic.

Re: Trump and the Bible
It's as depressing as it is remarkable that Trump's sycophants are so blind to the glaringly obvious fact that he hardly cares at all about the Bible or anything it actually says. He only cares about what he thinks will make him look good in the eyes of his intended audience.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
“If you make people think they're thinking, they'll love you; but if you really make them think, they'll hate you.”
― Harlan Ellison

Re: Trump and the Bible
I'm wondering which one of the seven deadly sins evangelists believe Trump is NOT committing:
Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.
Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.
Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.
Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.
Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work. Hint:
