White House lies about Pence receiving Applause

In keeping with their pattern of openly and flagrantly lying to the American people, the White House published a transcript of Vice President Pence’s remarks at the 2019 Munich Security Conference, indicating that there was applause after the Vice President mentioned President Trump. Of course the video of him pausing for applause went viral precisely because there was not a single person who clapped during that long pause. It was absolutely silent. This White House is corrupt and incompetent and is just openly lying because they know they can get away with it. If they lie about applause (and the President’s height and weight and a thousand other tiny things), how on earth can they be trusted with anything? Shame on anyone so blinded by right wing authoritarianism as to continue to support this corrupt and illegitimate administration.
