I understand a couple of guys here are laser focused on the ills that a diverse country has, but I don’t want this thread to be about that. We’re good.

I was just sitting here on my couch, listening to a lo-fi chill Brazilian montage via youtube, drinking some imported coffee, and had a Nicaraguan cigar earlier. It occurred to me how limited or narrow our collective experiences would be if we were resigned to a sort of cloistered existence. Heck, my wife who is 1/2 American and 1/2 Brazilian (her dad fell in love with her mother while on his mission and wifed her up as soon as he finished his time there) has a book on Buddhism she’s working through, meditated this morning heavily influenced by Hindu mysticism (our incense burning right now is nag champa), is currently sipping on a tea she brought home from Africa, has another book she’s reading by Brian Herbert (background story on the Bene Gesserit which has heavy Arab influences I think), and we both recently finished a small book by the German philosopher Martin Heidegger (in fact we downloaded his ‘Country Path Conversations’). Also, later for our first meal of the day we’re going to eat beans, rice, and salsa prepared in a traditional northern Mexico manner (her grandmother was one of those colonial Mormons, Juarez area, and she was basically Mexican despite being primarily Scandinavian genetically).

It’s funny how interconnected we are these days, and we may not realize just how infused all these different cultures are in our day to day lives. What I described above was a very normal and organic experience for us, it’s a morning routine.

How are your lives positively impacted by the diversity you knowingly and maybe unknowingly have introduced into your realities?

Oh yeah!! Guess what white man! I had Chinese food for dinner. Yesterday I had pizza, is that diverse? A couple of nights ago I had the best Vietnamese noodle soup. Last week I shook hands with a guy from Nigeria. Last month I roofed a house for an Indian doctor. Oh I forgot, this morning I held the door open for a Mexican lady. My landscaper is brown and doesn't speak english, is that diverse of me to hire him?? I just checked, my dirty underwear are made in Vietnam. My favorite fishing pole was made in China. Man!!! I'm one diverse white dude!! Yay for me! I feel so good about my self. Is there anyone on this board as diverse as me? I don't think so.

Hey Doc Cam!! I had a black guy I hired a few years ago threaten to kill me and after I threatened to call his parole officer he pretended like nothing ever happened.😂. Would you consider that a positive experience with a "diverse" person of color? I would!!

This thread cracks me up🤣😂🤣😂.

I went to downtown Norfolk last week and when I entered a "diverse" neighborhood, I rolled my windows up because I was scared I might get carjacked. I felt like rolling up the window was a positive "diverse" experience. Was I being too white??

Remember a few months ago when I told you guys I raise rabbits!?!? Well! A few years back when I became "Woke' and started getting in touch with my Progressive side, I realized all my rabbits were white. I was extremely disappointed!! So I started searching for a big black New Zealand buck so I could "diversify" my breeding program. I found a big black buck up in Pennsylvania and my wife and I drove up there to pick him up so we could bring him back and start using him to impregnate our beautiful white does. Well! When we got home and put our beautiful black buck in his cage, all the other white rabbits started freaking out!! They went crazy! You could tell they were scared of the big black buck and eventually their fear turned to anger. It's almost as if the white rabbits were upset my wife and I brought a colored rabbit into the rabbit barn. Well, luckily for me, I'm "WOKE" and I realized that all my White rabbits must be racist, probably Democrats, so I butchered and ate them all and now all I raise are colored rabbits. No more White Rabbits for me!!!! From here on out, the only rabbits I'm putting in cages are going to be colored! I find it to be very satisfying when I walk out to my rabbit barn and see all the colored rabbits inside their cages. Kinda like how Joe Biden feels when he sees all the brown migrant people in the cages that he and Obama built down near the border.

Hey Doc Cam!! How did I do? Am I "super woke" now that I only raise colored rabbits?? Was this a great "diverse" experience? Is my "whiteness" melting away?

For anyone interested, check out this "super woke" white lady! She used to only have white rabbits and now she has all kinds of colored rabbits. The diversity in her barn is amazing!! Check out her big black buck!! She must be a PROGRESSIVE!!
