The Trump campaign told Fox News that supporters ponied up a whopping $1.5 million since the former president began voicing outrage over a possible indictment and arrest in the Stormy Daniels hush-money coverup case.

Fox News reported Wednesday that the cash came pouring in following Donald Trump‘s Truth Social post Saturday calling on supporters to “PROTEST” and “TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK.”

Trump still seems to think he is entitled to immunity from indictment and prosecution no matter what he has done. Apparently much of his sycophantic base feels the same way. Even if he were being indicted for a murder witnessed by reputable witnesses, I think it is probable that many of his supporters would still claim the indictment and prosecution would be just another example of a politically motivated witch hunt.

The only reason he said he expected to be indicted on Tuesday was to solicit more donations wherein he rakes in 90 cents on the dollar. And yet...people are willfully blind to it.
