You're smart enough to know a tax cut for you gives you more money, but not smart enough to know that wealth is relative and those up the chain from you got a better cut and so the end result is a net loss for you. And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Good point. In Republican Florida, average American's have to pay a state tax of $0.35225/gal to fill up their cars and trucks. Meanwhile, the wealthy only pay $0.0427/gal to fuel up their private jets.ajax18 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 4:10 pmHigh gasoline prices are the most regressive taxes there are.Gadianton wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 2:49 pmCongratulate yourself for voting in Trump and your party's regressive tax plan. Although, one can always look to the holy land of Republican Georgia, with no State gas tax, and no tax on private jet fuel. They just suck at the federal teat of socialist wealth redistribution instead.
