Some are saying that Mark Meadows committed perjury when he testified last week, but that is the burden of being a MAGA Republican. If you say anything other than to take the 5th you will, of course, perjure yourself. That is just how they roll since the advent of Trump. I don't think he's coming out of this with the capital to start over, and given that he sucks ass as a businessman, he'll never make it trying to build something legitimately (not that he'd try).

Besides, what American bank is going to do business with him after this court decision? That would be financial malpractice.

Depends on the laws in each jurisdiction. Sometimes states have reciprocal agreements. If I were admitted to the bar in Washington and Oregon and the Washington Bar suspended me for ethics violations, Oregon would likely suspend me based on the Washington suspension. I have no idea whether such agreements exist when it comes to business licenses.
