The wildest thing about this post is remembering your other posts about the Immigration Reform Bill.
Incidentally, there about 4 million cases currently in backlog. Those people cannot be legally deported until their hearing. A mass roundup would similarly add cases, and backlog, and timeline waiting.
Guess what would have drastically reduced this backlog, allowing the government to legally deport the vast majority of these people, as well as quickly deport others?
I'll give you a hint. Trump got the Republican party to vote against it.
You're free to donate as much of your paycheck as you want. It's when you give away my paycheck that I have a problem with. In fact I don't think you should have any right to give away what I earn. It's a flaw in democracy that private property is no longer respected. It should have never happened but as long as it does open borders will continue to drive down the American standard of living.
Interesting reply. I guess it can be hard processing the fact that you are indirectly responsible for the number of illegal immigrants, and inability for them to be deported quickly. I actually support the idea of increasing the number of immigration judges, to quickly process and deport people who don't have a legal right to be here. It's unfortunate that you, and the political party you support, don't.
Regarding "open borders," I know I've told you before, but CBP data is publicly available. There were more enforcement actions at the border last year alone than the entirety of the Trump administration. I don't know why you insist on believing these silly things. At this point, it's actually got to take effort to continue to believe them. Or maybe you don't actually believe them, and just say them as a kind of virtue signalling. The message from Biden's DHS has been consistent since day one: "Don't come here illegally, the border isn't 'open'." So, why do people keep coming? How is it that so many people are getting the incorrect message the borders are "open"? I'm sure you can figure that one out on your own, since you are literally supporting one aspect of the cause of the border crisis, and consistently and actively perpetuating it.

Could it be because Republican voters believe that a border of thousands of miles can be hermetically sealed by a wall? Even the portions of Trump's wall that were completed could not keep out undocumented immigrants, who climb over it with $5 ladders.

"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”

Trump believed that it was feasible to build a moat at the border, and fill it with allegators and snakes. When a leader believes something like this, it's hard to even begin to gauge what his followers might believe.

Maybe Marjorie Taylor Greene will ask to redirect Jewish space lasers in order to kill border crossers.

“What do you think [of the makeup]? Make me sexy like you? Thank you, Kai. I am glad you think I look very beautiful. I don’t [put on makeup] often, but in HD, you better do it. I am just excited for Kai’s first speech. She chose a very large venue to get out there and ..”
