Dear participants,
My first thought for my Midgley biography was to pitch it to Signature Books, publishers of LDS-related books that are independent of General Authority oversight. Alas, it's becoming more and more clear that Louis C. Midgley is just too obscure a figure for them to justify a formal print run.
Therefore, the clear choice is to publish it through Amazon.com's print-on-demand feature. In searching the site, though, I haven't found any links to this service. So, to that end, has anyone here published through Amazon.com? If so, how did you go about doing it? Failing that, do you know anyone who has?
Thanks in advance for any help, assistance, or feedback.

Maybe this?

Or this?

This?
https://amazonpublisherhub.com/lp3/sour ... PEQAvD_BwE
KDP?
https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/
Pay Dirt!! Right from the AMZ website. Look straight down in Customer Service. Here's the link for Self Publishing. It's the KDP again.
https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/
Pro tip: Almost everything you see on the front page of Amazon is a link.

SlogFrog.com shows my little picture book that many said would be difficult to discover a narrator for because it’s < 1000 words.
Actually > 200 auditioned via ACX.com with the winner having played a friend of the friend of God on TV.
Text is pretty easy to format, while PBs can be a real pain requiring professional help.
https://www.kboards.com/ was a good resource.
Captain Quirk, over and out.

THANK YOU, Jersey Girl! This appears to be the place. After doing some digging, it looks like the book must be converted into Kindle format first, then you select to publish it either via Kindle or standard print-on-demand paperback.
I clicked on the Customer Service link, then looked over the entire page and didn't see anything regarding self-publishing through them. Oh well, it's okay though because of the "KDP" link you kindly provided.Pay Dirt!! Right from the AMZ website. Look straight down in Customer Service. Here's the link for Self Publishing. It's the KDP again.
I'm guessing "PBs" = "paperbacks?"High Spy wrote:Text is pretty easy to format, while PBs can be a real pain requiring professional help.

https://www.ingramspark.com/how-to-self-publish-a-book does bookstores and libraries too, but bookstores demand high prices and buybacks that explains all the books sold with the covers ripped off.

You can go minimum markup and most will still resale via Ingram. They just won’t have it on their shelves.
