New Signal transcripts show up Trump team's lies

So tell me, how did Fox News report on the second release of Signal material, which revealed that complete details of attack plans (with assets to be used, and precise times of attacks) had in fact been discussed on Signal, despite all the denials from Gabbard, Hegseth and others?

What did the Fox pundits opine? Of course we know what they would have said if this had happened under a Democratic administration, but how did they handle the delicate sensibilities of Trump?

Every politician lies. The difference with the GOP is that all the lies are obvious and stupid. They aren't subtle. You have to be in the cult to believe them because they are so outrageous. They are lies asking you to distrust your own perception.

I think your contempt is entirely valid, Schmo. I share much of it myself. Mainly angry about all of the people he's throwing into a complete tailspin including citizens of other countries. It feels like we're seeing malignant narcissism totally unleashed and he is out to wreck the entire world with no thought of consequence. I mean that sincerely and in no way am I exaggerating.

He clearly doesn't understand the benefit of trade, the importance of allies, how to go about effecting change in gov't agencies. I mean you don't just target an agency start ripping it apart. The fraud and waste isn't the jobs that people do. It's the layers of bureaucracy that need to be examined step by step and that involves process.

He has no steps in anything he does. He throws his dinner against the wall and now he's throwing our country, everyone in it including our allies, against the wall with total abandon. I would hate to see what his strategies would look like in writing. My guess is it'd be more like scribbling so hard that the pages would be torn into shreds and then he'd take his playbook and wing that against the wall.

I was watching a new interview by the Washington Post with Bob Woodward. He quoted Trump as saying:

Real power is, I hate to use the word, but the word is fear.~Trump

And when I hear that and I see what all he's doing, I simultaneously flash images in my mind of a child and in what situations they might have learned to think that way, behave that way, and it's not a happy or whole childhood. It's a childhood of terror and dissociation for survival. In other words, his father (likely) taught him what power was because he exercised power over his own child by scaring the holy living hell out of him. His father modeled it, then Trump himself developed it by learning to shut off parts of himself, and turned into the adult we see now.

He's so freaking broken and now he's breaking us.

I see him as a cancer metastasizing over the entire world. The destruction is pretty darn spectacular when you consider the global reach he has achieved. But who is going to rip this guy out by the root? Will anyone? Will anyone effectively remove the tumor and will they do it soon enough or miss the opportunity?
