I believe in a Jesus that respects agency and allows the laborer to decide where to draw the line on how much to use for himself and how much to give away.
Matthew 25, continued:
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Uh-uh. Somehow, I don't have the impression from the passage quoted that it would be safe for you to assume that the real Jesus will just say "OK, I suppose you thought your level of giving was appropriate, so that's fine by me".

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Here's a simple way to put that perhaps a liberal might understand. Have you ever heard the saying, "My body, my choice." Well this is my saying and I walk into gunfire to defend it. "MY LABOR, MY CHOICE!"
(I reduced the type face because it hurt my eyes.)
No, you wouldn't walk into gunfire to defend it. You won't even stop paying taxes and go to jail to defend it.

Maybe not. But like Jersey Girl and her stance on abortion, it's still between me and God, not me and Bernie Sanders.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

When the time is right Morley, perhaps Odin will let us settle this in a personal combat.

The words I quoted were not said by Bernie Saunders, but by another Jew, Jesus Christ himself. You don't think he meant what he said?

Chap I didn't post the rest of the passage because I figured ajax knew the it. But thank you for doing so. At least it went up in 2 pieces and it's all there. I did do a whole thread (no lengthy) on violations of Christianity that I see happening with the current admin here in Paradise. The whole passage is there tied to the same issue as this thread.
I have no idea why I'm explaining myself.
