I think it was a tragedy, but no more of a tragedy than the death of Ashley Babbit.

Ashley Babbit was breaking the law and was warned multiple times.

There was no illegal immigrant in the vicinity, and there was no obstruction of any arrest being made. Only human garbage can walk away from viewing the facts and still arrive at that conclusion.

He wasn't fighting the police, he was simply recording the ICE thugs which is his legal right. The only time he didn't mind his own business was when he saw an innocent woman being assaulted by an ICE thug and he tried to help her up. He had his back to the agent but they sprayed them both and then proceeded to beat him on the ground.

ICE officers are not law enforcement they are paid thugs many of whom were pardoned by Trump during the failed Jan 6th insurrection but their jurisdiction is confined strictly to immigration related matters. They can't intervene with traffic violations or strip Americans of their rights just because they're fragile snowflakes who are on power trips, wearing masks and feeling like they have all the power in the world. This is why they escalate matters over the smallest of things, like someone saying something that offends them.

Actually no, the police are the ones who regularly ask people if they have a weapon on them because that is their policy. There is no obligation on his part to say anything, especially since he was not under arrest and had not committed any crime.

Actually, CBP was attending to arrest a suspected illegal immigrant across the street from where Alex was killed. The suspect had fled inside a building and the door had been locked. The operation was a couple hundred feet away from where Alex was filming, and he was not interfering with the operation at all.

The incident started when an agent inexplicably tried to knock a woman to the ground. There is no indication that the agent was trying to take her into custody. She managed to retain her footing and ran to the sidewalk and stopped. The agent then ran after and, again, violently knocked her to the ground. Alex bent down to help her up. As far as I can tell, there were no verbal instructions given to Alex. Even if there were, he was given no chance to comply. There is no evidence that Alex was disobeying commands or interfering with an arrest or detainment.

Alex was immediately gang tackled by several agents and sprayed in the face with pepper spray. At that point, he presented no physical danger whatsoever. Agents found a gun in a holster or in his waistband (not sure which) and took it. There’s was no justification for using deadly force.

ETA CBP even lied about their suspect, saying he was a dangerous criminal. Either the city or the state posted a correction stating that they had no record of the suspect being charged with a crime. He did have a couple of 10 year old traffic violations.

The only evidence we have for this so called sting operation is by the DHS, the same organization that told us Pretti was physically assaulting ICE officers, "brandishing" a gun, was only shot in "self defense," and that Rachel Good had completely run over an ICE agent who was fighting for his life in the hospital.

I just don't think there is any good reason to believe anything these clowns say anymore.

And if you're in a group of nearly a dozen ICE officers trying to arrest an illegal immigrant around the corner, then why waste time pepper spraying and assaulting US citizens on the street for simply filming you? Doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.

Roid rage. I believe the media verified that a suspect had taken refuge in the building. Without that, I wouldn’t believe it either.
