Here is something I hadn't previously understood. Trump (and his ilk) are working in an effort to consolidate the media in favor of MAGA. Here is Jim Acosta who testified today in CA. He explains it in such a way that even I can understand. I knew about the recent house cleaning at 60 Minutes. I knew about some of the mergers. But I didn't understand how they were linked to accomplish an end game, much less did I know what the end game was. You'll "get it" in under 12 minutes in the video below.

One more thing I saw recently. Brian Tyler Cohen has been put on the Trump "enemies list". I guess that means he's going after the independent media commentators on youtube. The ones we all refer to here. Because that's really all we have left.

Here's what I ultimately think: once Trump dies, the GOP fractures into a million little pieces because nobody's as damned shameless and spastically retarded as Trump is. His idiot minions will have nobody to follow who has the same crippling emotional immaturity they have identified with this whole time. The GOP is hypocritical and full of crap (like Trump), but they don't have the ridiculously immature panache that his followers love so much.

The GOP base needs an obvious damned baby to worship. A mature asshole isn't as appealing from their idiotic perspective. They need an openly corrupt and emotionally stunted idiot to really get on board.
