For eight years a man named Akebono Taro was the Yokozuna, or heavyweight champion, of the Sumo style of wrestling. In this clip he fights Royce Gracie, the winer of the first three UFC championships.

Our lives revolve around football in the fall and winter, then again during the draft in the spring, and later, training camp.
You know, I never did get the whole football thing. Or the basketball thing. Or the baseball thing. Or any other spectator sport, for that matter.
I mean, I can see playing sports if that's what you want to do, but sitting on the couch watching a bunch of people you don't even know play sports? I just don't get it!
What really boggles my mind is when people root for a team from a state they don't even live in. What on earth is the point of that??

You think he's bad......how about following the other (what some consider more boring) football, soccer? And even worse, following about 4 or 5 countries worth of coverage (not to mention International games, and MLS....) think of those crazy soccer fans wives.

I actually like going to games, but not watching them on television. I really love baseball games 'cause baseball players turn me on for some reason, lol! Also, I grew up going to every high school football game my school every played and so I love the whole atmosphere of amateur football games, especially the bands. I was in band, though, and marching season was the best!
What I don't get is why so many men love pro football. Really, even pro baseball has become so affected, it's not the sport it used to be. The salaries are outrageous! Doesn't anyone play for the love of the game anymore?
Oklahoma, of course, doesn't have a pro football team and the Cowboys are the closest team, but even if they weren't, they'd still be my hubby's team. He's unflinchingly loyal to them! Tom loves to play sports, too, but it's hard to find teams playing in his age range, lol. He tried a baseball league, but all the guys were under twenty-five and I think he got tired of being called "old man". But he sure looked sexy in that uniform...
I'm not sure there's a point, except for enjoyment. If you like watching games, then that's the point.
What color is ignorant, anyway? I looked in my crayon box and didn't see that Shade(s).

I know what you mean. I totally prefer to be one of those Christians fighting the wild lions in the Colloseum myself.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

Tell your wife's crazy bishop that you're a Cougars season ticket holder.....what could he say after that?

Amen to that, I've always wanted to die doing something, not lying in a bed.
