Man, I love baseball if, that is, Tony Kubek and Bob Costas are calling the game. Then, I am there 100%.
Noone can gall a game like those guys. No one. The Holy Ghost confirmed that to me, so you can deny it to your own peril.

I deny the Holy Ghost on this one, buddy.
Jon Miller (ESPN) is the absolute best (although listening to him usually means Joe Morgan is there, and that sucks a little bit). But he calls my beloved Giants games on the local radio, without the insipid Morgan, so that rocks. The next best are Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper, who call the TV broadcasts for the Giants. Krukow did some nationally televised games for Fox this season, and kicked ass. But the two of them together are the best. I don't want them to be too good though, then I won't get them for all my Giants games.
I may be going to hell in a bucket, babe / But at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Well, maybe what I was feeling was a Paul H. Dunn moment. Forgive me!
But, for sure, Joe Morgan sucks. Sorry, I've been away from the states for so long that I don't know the others.
But, I will trust you, unless, that is, that you also tell me you saved a guy in the war and at the same time had your shoe shot off and your belt shot off and your helmet shot off...and...you get the idea.

There was Hank Greenwald up until about '86, then again in '89. I loved listening to him.
Right now I think the Giants have one of the best broadcasting teams in MLB. Even Dave Flemming has grown on me (even though he's like 12 or something).

But I did save a guy and the war while my shoe, belt and helmet were shot off. Luckily I had a flask in my shirt pocket that spared me a fatal shot to the chest, though. Of course, the flask had fruit punch in it - no strong drink for me!

That's him! Hank Greewald is the voice of baseball for me. I also remember that Ralph Barbieri dude with the weird voice who did the post-game stuff. Good memories.
The TBS baseball crew isn't doing a whole lot for me. What's up with Cal Ripken? It's painful watching him try to do analysis.

Ralph has an afternoon call in show with Tom Tolbert (former NBA player, kinda funny). Still has the weird voice.
Hank did some games for the A's after his time with the Giants. It didn't seem right.
Damn, now I'm already missing the Giants' season. When will they make it back to the post-season, to extend my baseball joy!?!
