yeah the beastie is sitting behind me while I type this. I was energized enough by this thread to buy him a lot of fancy ass cat food today. He's sacked out from his feast.

We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Hmmm the God El reminds me of Blixa...I love the kitten!!!
I need to get Blixa a playmate. He's so rambunctious. He starts in at 5 wanting to be fed and then when I go back to bed he won't stop jumping on me, pushing under the covers and throwing his cat toys on top of me. Then he starts nipping at anything that's outside of the blankets.

Elohim (a.k.a. cupcake, over my objections) has just a smitch of white fur in the middle of her chest. That's why bf finally decided she had to be cupcake instead of El... she's a chocolate cupcake with cream center. I also noticed how much she and blixa look alike, and she also has the pantaloons. Her fur is quite beautiful, some of it looks mink-ish, almost auburn.
Thelma and Louise are beautiful kitties, too, and I love them. But I believe they must have been abused before I adopted them from a shelter. Although they've improved over time (I've had them over two years) they remain skittish of people and are NOT lap cats. They tolerate us mainly from a distance. Thelma will actually nip you suddenly in the middle of petting, if you pet her longer than a minute or two. LuLu (louise) hides a lot. That's why I finally broke down and allowed myself the luxury of adopting a third kitty. I got her when she was younger, and she had been in an foster home, so she was used to people. She's much more loving. It was a rough adjustment at first, but we took it slow, and now I actually think Thelma and Lulu like her because she's so entertaining.

Oh, and KA, I love the pork and beans story!! And Always Thinking, I noticed how adorable yours is long ago!
My bf is a cat person, too, thankfully, although he always stops at one. He adopted cupcake from a shelter, too, and the older woman who was with them actually has 20 cats in her house. And I though I was a nut for having three! I have a feeling if I worked with a shelter I'd end up with 20, too.

Your cats are adorable, Beastie! Thanks for sharing the photos.
El Cupcake is adorable and does look amazingly like Blixa.
And yes, Blixa, a second cat is a good idea, I think. At first it won't be easy, but eventually the cats will entertain each other. Mine have always been together, so they are very bonded and love each other quite a lot.
