Yes the video was probably shot in 71 or 71. The 2 guys bought Christian at Harrod's in 1969 when he was about 35 lbs. A year later when he had grown too big for them to handle, they sent him to Africa, and accompanied him on that trip. A year after that they went to see him, which is when that video was made.
The article from that link I gave previously was written 2007 and it mentions a new book out about Christian the Lion. As well there is a DVD. There is a web site with additional information from which the book and DVD can be purchased.
