I have no idea what this about but I'm butting in here anyway.

Mon...you are not a monster. I mean look around you. There are people who post here who do post monstrously and quite likely are monsters in real life of one kind of another. I don't respond to them anymore. And while that certainly helps my mental health it makes it hard to carry through complex and interesting discussions: the threads get big holes in them, its hard to answer bits of some queries while avoiding being sucked into the vortexes of umbrage of others and so forth. That's why I'm not posting much here anymore; I can't find an effective way around this problem, although certainly other posters I respect seem to have more useful ways of dealing with this than I've yet been able to find.

Here's a litmus test: Have you recently been calling people "fags" and making jokes about blood atoning them? No? Not a monster.

Which thread is that on, Blixa? I haven't been around for a while myself, and would love a LINK to see who is the culprit.

Thanks in advance.

The thread is SL Trib's Kirby on Calendar excommunication. My link is to the second page, but read both pages to get the full flavor of fellowship...

I missed that discussion, but what Gaz had to say really surprised me. Wonder what was going on with him as he wrote that?

I've never really thought of Moniker as a monster--at least not any more than I am. Maybe that's not saying much what with those I've recently hurt with off-color humor or with my thoughts on homosexual "marriage".

I support the brethren in their opposition to homosexual "marriage" which, I am happy to say, does not include violence. I find such notions of violence disturbing even if used as hyperbole or to underscore the importance one places on the issue.

I think many here can act like an adolescent at times--some more than others. I have recently been thinking about how much I myself am like a teenager in many ways (taste and manners at least). In fact I often forget that I am an adult.

I don't know, I think the litmus test needs more questions like:

Do you eat babies?
Are you at the end of the book? (Think Sesame Street here)
Have you ever woken up to find yourself naked out on the moors late at night with symbols of Cthulu carved into your skin and several dead goats?
Have you ever dated me?
Have you ever lived in Arkansas?

I think that covers it all.

On a related note, here's how to deal with monsters when found: http://www.theonion.com/content/news/mo ... nster_just

Apparently, I am "Twisted". "You are just barely evil. Although you are not completely evil, and can easily change your ways if you desired to do so, if a tough decision comes up, you will choose the option that favours you." We all know you are evil angus [smilie] :D [/smilie] hehe

Mon, I think it is very brave of you to post what you have done. Thank you. I understand how you feel. I never ever for one second considered you a monster. And I know Monster!!!! You are great to talk to and we can all get a bit arghhh sometimes. God Bless you.

Oh Church today was awesomeeeee. I have begun going to Gospel Principles instead of Sunday School, it is a better class. I have to get ready for work. how crud is that. Oh something funny about today... The lesson was about the right to choose. There is an Irish man in class who jokes a lot. He said "When Satan fell from Heaven, he must have had a hell of a fall. That was funny. I just found out some of my friends have become inactive. Harhar. It's all about attention with them though.

Aha h Toast is cutting the roof of my mouth... oh, You know what sucks? I have been working full time all week and Summer has just kicked in. The hottest days since I can remember and I am working in a shop with NO AC or movement of air and the customers often smell VERY BADLY. I mean they really do. Like of pee and poo and disgusting dirtyness. You'd have to smell it to believe it and the smell lingers and you can smell them at the other end of the shop. How can people smell so bad? I would understand one woman whom we often see looking through bins and wears the same clothes all the time and picks pennies up from the street, but when someone who doesn't do such things smells worse than this woman, it makes you wonder what on earth goes on and when a whole family smells and the little girl talks to herself in an odd fashion... ughhhhhh!!!!!! So today should be awefully fun!!! NOT!!! I hope I can go back to normal soon.

Mwahaha.. Toast and beans have upset my stomach. This clock says 6.00AM and it is like 2pm.

I had a dream that I was going to go back to weightlifting. I think that is a good idea. I am thinking about joining the RAF. This weather is HUUUUmid! I am glad I am British. Anyone wanna go to work for me? Can you tell, I am procrastinating?

Oh wanna hear a rant?

I came up with an idea at the last IOP (Institute of Physics) Branch Meeting and later discussed with student representatives in other cities (I am the rep of the City I study in). They didn't like my idea and said I was overstepping my boundaries, but as I had the backing and support of the IOP I was going to do it in my City regardless of the other cities. And guess what??? I recieved and email from the dude in charge of the physoc of another city asking what I thought about doing this thing and I said that I already brought it up and his cities rep wasn't interested and neither were the others in our branch. He said he was going to do this project in his city and if I had any contacts if I could share them and that his rep was going to bring it up at the AGM. I was like oohhhhh myyyyyy goooshhhhh!!! How cheeky. How hipocritical of these people. Anywho, I gotta go to work. Bye.
"HOW DARE YOU KEEP US WAITING!!!!! I demand you post right this very instant or I'll... I'll...
