Well, I can't claim to speak for Moniker but my impression is:

It's about a song.
(She is giving the song as a gift)

It's about caring.
(She is doing so because it might help someone "out there")

It's about support.
(People who suffer emotional abuse need support)

It's about empathy.
(The gift of the song, messages therein, stem from empathy)

It's about indecisiveness.
(She's deciding something)

It's about do-over's.
(She keeps trying to decide)

It's about breaking away.
(She's in the process)

You were the one who answered what this thread was about, so you were naturally the one to whom to direct the question.

Don't you agree?

Thanks for link/site Moniker. Most informative & enlightening. I will EM to further spread the word :-) Too bad SS, PH & Relief Society classes don't use those information tabs in their curricula.

There seems no end to where this knowledge/understanding can be applied. There is not, generally speaking, a group of any size or nature that does not have a mix of abusives and abused. Particularly is this seen in office/work environments.

YIKES! I see myself getting laughs at the "innocent" expense of others. I guess Political Correctness is designed to bring these type of things to the attention of thinking sensitive people. Little wonder that movement is disparaged...

NB: I HOPE i didn't read you correctly? About your last posting here? It's my dementia at work, right? But, what's best for You. Warm regards, Roger

Here's a good first step to finding your voice: Let your original post stand without editing it later.

Roger, thanks for the reply. Yes, I've been planning to leave for quite a while and posted a goodbye before, yet, I was rather flustered and angry when I did so. I wanted to leave on a more upbeat note. Yes, I think many people just don't recognize how taunts, mocks, and snide jokes really can hurt people.

SUAS, thank you for the song.

Dr. Shades, why are you so concerned about my posts and my edits? My OP merely listed off things that can be found in the website I linked. I didn't want this to be a personal thread about me. I am tired of having to answer to someone every time I write something or feel like I have to defend my thoughts. I'm really, quite frankly, extremely sick of it.

Congratualations Moniker! Vey few evolve to where You are!
Sure does make me feel good to see someone/anyone find the truth about others, and especially about themselves.

It is too often obscured by those one considers their friends. Sort-of-like, Scotty, a guy I know.

The future's all Yours Mon-ami! Lucky will be those You touch on Your journey... Warm regards, Roger

Thank you, Liz. I will keep in touch.

Also, I just wanted you to know, Liz. That your sense of fairness is appreciated. You attempt to see the best in everyone and that is an amazing trait of yours. Your compassion and empathy shines through -- you are an amazing woman, truly.
