Don't like having a former captian in the Israeli army as chief of staff eh? Sounds promising to me, but the fact that such a one would even associate himself with Democrats in that fashion, especially a pro Palestinian president, does not bode well for Israel.

This assumes I am asking for bipartisnaship. I'm not. Just pointing all the various inconsistences that disqualify Obama or stain his reputation.

In general yes. However, I think McCain would've been more likely to engage in bipartisanship, a dangerous risking of principles.

Despite the fact that Obama had 10 times more money than McCain, McCain really only lost by a relatively slim margin, voter turnout being within one percent of the 2004 election.

So I don't yet buy into the cynicism that corporations are fixing the elections with similar candidates.

Obama won by an absolute landslide, how can you say that?
I don't think any projection had him winning so strongly as he did.
It's interesting -- did he mainly campaign in the smaller states? That's where he mostly seems to have won.

Obama's campaign cost something like $750 million dollars, ridiculous. Some have it at 1 Billion.
And he got the majority of that money from the corporations.
