I considered Jill Stein, who actually is a closer match to me ideologically. However, (and EA thinks I'm nuts for thinking this, but I already know I tend to be OCD, oh, well) I live in a swing state and I do think my vote counts. If Romney is elected, kiss Roe V Wade and health care good-bye, and say hello to more Scalia on the bench. I know loblaw tells me those things won't happen, but I think he underestimates the power of the extreme right in the republican party right now. Those are risks I can't take.

I am still a little open to Stein, but I will probably chicken out.

I would have voted for Mitt Romney if I lived in a swing State, but since I don't, I decided not to.

The poll wouldn't accept my vote. Must be one of those Democratic voting machines. I'm voting against the candidate who my wife met in her office at WBEZ circa 1997. I think that Obama is the worst president we've had since James Buchanan. His disastrous decisions with respect to Egypt and Iran make him potentially worse than Neville Chamberlain (I realize that he's not a British PM).
