Wish someone had mentioned the context for her quote in which she also added having no desire to run again.

Super Del from this very board has indicated a willingness to be President. To his credit, he is young and in good health. Wouldn't that be totally awesome?

Someone did mention it. You owe EA an apology!

Nobody has mentioned that after saying she didn't want to run, she totally said she was thinking about running and would make a decision after seeing how the midterms go.

Oh, and then this racist joke happened.

I guess the Liberals on the board aren't threatened by her casual racism because she doesn't reeeeally mean it. It's the oddest thing to watch otherwise smart people see reality when it finally reveals itself, whether it's Biden taking away our individual liberties and living off the corporate teat, or the Clintions outing themselves as modern day plantationists, and have to come up with some rather convoluted or whataboutism to justify a crap ideology.

The hypocrisy here is that you're quick to call something racist no matter how borderline or minor it is, only because it comes from the lips of your perceived political enemies. Anything overt and obvious from your political allies isn't racism at all. Never. Ever.

This is something you would only know about by reading Daily Caller idiots on Twitter, who misrepresent what was said. She never said two "black" politicians. And of course she was joking (she was grinning and laughing as she said it) and no she didn't specify who 'they' were so for all you know she was just referring to politicians in general. It was an off the cuff joke because the interviewer confused them.

But google the phrase "they all look alike" and Hillary Clinton and all you get are dumb Right Wing outlets trying to make this a huge story. The genesis of fake news as we speak.

If it really happened then it is actually not fake news...but if you purposely conceal the news, then that could be kinda-fakey news...

The last 3 presidential losers prior Clinton retired from public life? Mitt Romney, John McCain, and John Kerry? Um, Ok. Does Utah know about this?

To be fair,
1. Clinton did retire from public life - she lives a private life that is suvbsidized by the public.
2. John McCain effectively retired after his run at President and not having a public life so much as he had public life-support.
3. As for Mitt, being a Senator is a sure-fire method to removing yourself from any public interaction.
4. John Kerry....who the blazes is that?

It is fake news when it isn't news at all and one side is reporting it as such while misleading readers into thinking she must've said all "black" people look alike when that isn't what she said. This is just manufactured fodder for genuine racists to use to cover their own racism.

Clinton was jokingly admonishing the moderator for mixing up black political figures. That right-wing media is outraged that their manufacturered outrage over a misrepresented story isn’t getting enough outrage is too meta for me.

George W. Bush is sitting out there as one of history's worst presidents and even he doesn't get this kind of flak.

GWB has stayed out of public political argument since he left office.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
