There is absolutely only one person responsible for the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh.

YES - in the sense that, assuming he had no material help by anybody else who was aware of his plan, he is indeed the only person who will have to face charges for the killing of these people.

NO - in the sense that there were people on his Gab list (it was Gab, was it not?) who spent many hours writing and reposting material designed to suggest that the USA, and particularly the white citizens thereof, were in mortal danger from conspiracies launched by evil Jews, and in some cases discussing what kind of action should, ideally be taken to eliminate that threat.

Nope, there is only one sense here and it is that only 1 person is responsible and that person ain't Trump.

The simple fact is that even you have read anti-semitic messages; have knowledge of conspiracies; have access to guns; etc...yet you somehow did not shoot up a synagogue.

Your "Gab" theory is unreasonable inasmuch as it must therefore be considered "at fault" should Gab be shot up by a crazed gunman who believes that Gab is culpable inthe Pittsburgh event....and....must...be...held...accountable.

That is of course guaranteed under the first Amendment to the Constitution - and that fact is not under dispute.

However the fact that people cannot be prosecuted at law in the US for repeatedly encouraging hatred and fear of Jews online, and posting fantasies of violent action against them, in no way relieves them of their share of moral responsibility when a crazy gun-slinging guy is thereby hyped up to go out and actually kill some Jews.

Are you under the impression, perhaps, that something which it is legal to do can never be ethically wrong? Why, I think you are, at least in this instance. That is an unfortunate confusion, to say the least.
