It’s kind of a strange evolution of the failed, “everyone’s a winner!” philosophy. In the new form, the only acceptable people are the ones that are seen as no ‘better’ than the one doing the judging, where the amorphous definition of ‘better’ resides within the insecurities of that individual. Everyone else is an ‘elite’ who must be shunned.

The biggest problem with the public school system is that it isn't able to fend off the micromanaging of fundy morons. Any school system that would produce a Bach is a demonstrable failure.
