I don't really agree with Steyer on impeaching Trump. Instead I agree with Pelosi that Trump is not worth impeaching. And impeaching Trump would just further divide this country.

Trump seems to have too many character deficits to be a fit President, however, his most strident followers would likely be in terrorist mode if he was impeached. His followers seem to run the gamut from venal to stupid, but wherever they fall on that limited scale they are potentially dangerous.

You need to learn your history. The US today is much more restrictive today then it has ever been in letting people come in. In the past you just needed a heart beat and you were in. Some though didn't like groups like the Irish coming over.
The US had land conquered from the Indians and needed European settlers at one time to establish their claim and control the continent. Hetian mercenaries were given land in Virginia in exchange for the military service to King George. Immigrants coming for birth tourism and to partake of the social welfare state in exchange for Democrat votes didn't start until the 20th century.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

No that isn't history you dumb “F”, that's just your weird fantasy version from a white supremacist perspective. "Hessian" soldiers came to fight for money against the American Continentals not the Indians. Of the roughly 30,000 who came, only 15% decided to settle in the United States because they couldn't afford to return or they just started a family here. Land was basically free because there was so much of it. Some folks who actually read history in school might remember the great land rush of Oklahoma in 1889. Your belief that the borders were secure and immigrants were restricted back then is nothing short of stupid. All you needed was a pulse and you were in.
The vast majority of Hessian mercenaries returned to Germany or died after fighting in the 13 colonies which had a population of around just 2.4 million. During that time the United States borders comprised just a fraction of what it is today so they weren't there to secure the "continent". Their service ended in the late 18th century. This notion of "Manifest Destiny" which presumed the United States would eventually encompass the entire continent from Pacific to Atlantic, didn't even exist in anyone's mind until the mid 19th century. Long after the Louisiana Purchase, which even Thomas Jefferson said was unconstitutional, literally doubled the size of the country. The Annexation of Mexican territory based on an illegal war, according to Abraham Lincoln, finally completed the conquest.

That's why we're in a different situation with regard to immigration now than in the 18th century, not because it's impoverished latinos rather than European immigrants as you like to claim.
And nice to see you're taking time off from your job as police chief in Chicago Kevin Graham. Justine Smollet appreciates you coming through for him.
During that time the United States borders comprised just a fraction of what it is today so they weren't there to secure the "continent"
The Spanish gave land to the Cajuns in Louisiana not because they were in the business of accepting economic refugees but rather they needed settlers to help secure their claim to the land. Immigrants were accepted or rejected based on what they could do for the country, not what the country could do for them.
By your standards a president acting on behalf of the native born citizens in this way is an impeachable offense. We're not one nation anymore because we have no loyalty to one another as Americans.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Nothing you just babbled negates the fact that border security is at al all time high. The "good old days" you and your white supremacists in Congress envision, where the country was securely white because of superior border security, is just a fantasy. Border crossings are actually down significantly by more than two thirds since just 15 years ago, and people like you are so scared shitless about little brown people who are more intelligent, have more morals and are much harder workers. Again, you're an embarrassment to everything it means to be an American. Our founding fathers and virtually everyone else after them would spit you out and have nothing to do with your manufactured hysteria which is clearly driven by ignorance and hate.

I think not. Neither are people want the border enforced (which by your definition equals white supremacism) in the minority.

For a good number border security is very much about keeping non-white people out. You yourself have a known history of thinking this, and your recent postings tend to show you haven't really changed your opinion and ideas. It's one of the problems trying to discuss real border and immigration problems with you.

We spend around 25B a year on border enforcement, require that people meet specific legal requirements before we admit them, jail and deport people who try to enter illegall, and have a specific law enforcement organization to sniff out and arrest folks who have been living here decades. So it’s irrational to claim that you belong to some special class of people who want the borders enforced. I’m going ask you what I asked Ceeboo: How will you know when the border is secure? How do you measure that?

When his fear over the ratio of brown and black people in America subsides.
So, he'll never know, unless he can get a grip.
