I must've missed your WHO clarification, but sonce you jumped right to the FDA aspect...im guessing you are pointing out, nay, you are now criticizing Trump for not suspending the FDA clearance for tests that may already be flawed or inaccurate etc..
Or maybe you have a citation or quote about some actual point you're trying to make via the FDA?

You're being sarcastic, Ajax, but it is indeed still the case that global warming remains a pressing issue with an alarmingly short amount of time to act. This fiasco of a response to coronavirus is like a sped-up version of what's been happening with global warming, only the consequences for global warming not being adequately addressed are ultimately more severe.

What's interesting is Ajax and his alt right types where denouncing any real threat of this virus or that it was a democratic/leftist scam even after it was obvious it was real and a threat. Now many admit it after it is killing many people. I see the same thing with global warming. The threat is real and fairly obvious at this point yet alt right is at the same point with global warming as they were with the corona virus weeks ago. It won't be until global warming is doing the major damage that most alt right will admit it is a problem, and like with the corona virus they will claim they took it seriously from the start.

Don't worry Themis. We've banned platic straws in a few American cities. This will fix it even though China is exempt from this rule.

Now we know China banned travel from Wuhan to other parts of China but allowed people from Wuhan to travel anywhere elsei n the world at the same time. This is looking very similar to the global warmimg situation.

Plastic straw bans are more about reducing the plastic accumulating in the ocean as plastic accumulation is hurting ocean ecology. That said, there is a carbon footprint to them too, so it doesn't hurt on that front. No one thinks banning plastic straws solves climate change. Strawman is too good a term for whatever that is.

Hey Ajax - Trump's travel ban on China that occurred after coronavirus was already spreading in the US exempted virtually everyone who travels from China to the US. You think that might have some analogous relevance to the point you're trying to make here?

How much have plastic straw bans improved ocean ecology since they have been implemented in a few cities? Do these insignificant improvements have anything to do with the fact that most of the Texas sized Pacific plastic cluster comes from China who is exempt from this ban? China banning domestic flights from Wuhan while leaving Wuhan's residents free to roam the globe and infect the rest of the world seems to be rooted in that same failed liberal foreign policy.

Once again Western self discrimnation has suceeded in inconveiencing its own people while doing little if anything to solve the overall problem.
