From that thread:
Cylincier wrote:The GOP has succeeded in convincing a sizeable portion of the population that it's better to be stupid and "free" than to learn anything a "liberal" might teach. The GOP figured out in the 80s that a dumber population was easier to control and propagandize, so they started taking a wrecking ball to the education system with Reagan. But all the way to the early 00s, the state of declining education and failed EdDep programs remained a political hot button issue. I think it wasn't until George W that the GOP began their assault on the value of education itself. No Child Left behind was the last time the public argued about whether or not we could do better with education at the federal level. It's not a topic of discussion anymore. Almost 20 years.

I remember the whole vilifying a college education thing really starting to gain traction on the right around 2004/05. That's when conservatives on the street started to become openly antagonistic to college campuses. Sure the elected Republicans started on that earlier, but the base really started parroting the line around then. It wasn't long before arguing with a Republican quickly became about how your college filled your head with liberal lies.

It's honestly as genius as it is diabolical. For a party obsessed with hurting everyone including their own voters, just taking education away wasn't going to be enough. They had to make people want to be uneducated. And they succeeded. Trump was only the full realization of that plan in action. Now Republicans believe that facts are subjective and beliefs define reality. And this didn't just happen in 2016. It's been at least 40 years in the making at the federal level. For the right, being too smart is now a sign of the liberal agenda. Conveniently, this means they generally choose not to be able to think for themselves, letting elected Republicans and rightwing talking heads tell them what to believe and who to hate. Just as planned.
Pretty much nails it.

I would only go a step further and say that it's not just being too smart; the right now considers the simple act of articulating facts part of the liberal agenda. They do not like hearing facts much.

There's a measure of irony when you realize all of these damned morons spreading their idiotic "thoughts" are using a tool developed by science to express their anti-intellectualism. If it weren't for smart people coming up with computer technology and the Internet, we'd never have to listen to these damned idiots essentially talking about how being a idiot is preferable.

I felt your comment coupled with this exchange is perfect:

It’s meme-worthy at this point.

Because Pfizer and most of Big Pharma is Jewish owned and/or ran. The GQP, alt-Right, and Qtards basically take everything back to Jews running the world, which, you know, depends on how honest one wants to be ref banking appointments, media appointments, social media platforms, political appointments, etc. I don’t really care that Jews own and operate the lion’s share of influential crap, but they do. Man, do they ever. So, ultimately a powerless neckbeard ends up wearing a t-shirt like that because he’s balls deep in those circles and he’s “red pilling” the public.

Well, he’s shopping at a Trader Joe’s, which is owned by German discount giant Aldi, so maybe he can feel better about that, anyway.

heh... I clicked on your link and it was four blocked posts by morons. That was funny, although I'm sure you didn't mean it that way.

Can you give me the gist so I don't have to read their BS?

You’re probably more spot on than you know. He’s probably shopping there precisely because of its loose connections to Nazi Germany through the Albrechts.
