I have no idea who in the White House should be locked up, but this looks bad.

You wouldn't have heard about it from Fox news, they hate true stories. You need to broaden yourself a wee bit...Binger wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 1:20 amThis all happened at the White House?Philo Sofee wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 1:10 amI misspoke, it was an officer killed by the thrown fire extinguisher during the riots which Binger is unaware of. People were killed, and no one has been prosecuted for it. Trump encouraged the riots (which, again Binger has never heard of, so really, it's all a myth that didn't happen), so I would say he is ultimately responsible, as he did not even lift a finger to stop the riot either (which, once more, Binger has never heard of, so it is a sure thing that it never ever happened, but is just a silly CNN mock up and conspiracy.
Wow!!! I have never heard this.
This officer died from a fire extinguisher toss at the White House? That is horrible. What was his name? If that is true, I am sure his family had something to say about that.

Here is an artist depiction of the White House the last time it was attacked. War of 1812
You really need to clue me in here Philo, I am trying to fill in the gaps. I swear to god, in my lifetime, I have never heard of the White House being attacked.

Re: Lock [gender pronoun] up!
on a positive note. While I have never heard of the White House being attacked, these images by artists from the early 19th Century are fascinating.

Philo, you gotta help us out here. Can you help with more details of this White House attack? Maybe it happened, and everyone else on this board missed it. I sure did. Thanks man.

Perhaps knowing the actual story would be more illuminating than the meme you posted.
The Georgetowner wrote:It was the photo that went viral within hours of being posted on Facebook March 8: former Vice President Joe Biden’s well-known face captured on a bystander’s cell phone camera as he shared an exchange with a man experiencing homelessness on the steps of the Georgetown AMC movie theater on K Street. Within days, the image was shared by media outlets across the globe and the social media sphere went into a frenzy as the picture racked up hundreds of thousands of reactions online.
The stark juxtaposition displayed in the photo — a man, who for eight years called Number One Observatory Circle home, showing compassion toward a man who has no home — tugged at the heartstrings of many. And while it is a powerful thing for Americans to see elected leaders exhibit traits like kindness, decency and compassion, there is another, perhaps even greater takeaway to the story, if we’ll pause long enough to receive it.
Who is the other man in the photo, the one sitting on the stone steps of the theater that chilly evening whose face is almost completely shielded by the hood pulled over his head?
His name is Rashid and he is sometimes a guest at Georgetown Ministry Center, frequenting GMC for services like showers and laundry. Like Biden, he has also served his country. Rashid, an Air Force veteran, traveled the globe during the Vietnam War, drawing maps and bomb plots to support U.S. troops in the heat of battle. “I was honored and proud to serve,” he says of his time in service.
Rashid has experienced homelessness for some time now and when he saw Biden exiting the movie theater last Thursday evening, he asked him for some money so he could buy a sandwich.
Biden obliged — and then he stayed to talk.
“He didn’t think I recognized him,” Rashid said of the former dignitary. As they spoke, Rashid shared of the struggles he has been experiencing in receiving assistance from the Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically with procuring a housing voucher that would enable him to receive decent, safe and sanitary housing — leaving behind a life on the streets.
It was then that Biden went back into the theater for a pen and paper and jotted down a phone number. It was a personal contact who could assist in helping Rashid. As Biden handed him the slip of paper, a bystander snapped a photo on his phone’s camera — and the rest, as they say in our digital age, is recent history.

I've always thought about this act in relation to how Donald Trump feels about the poor. When he was having hard financial times, he was walking with Ivanka when they passed a homeless man. "That man has a billion dollars more than I have", said Trump.
A tale of two Presidents.
The great problem of any civilization is how to rejuvenate itself without rebarbarization.

So, why then, is he sending out lip balm in a crack smoking kit? Apparently, they decided against sending out crack pipes and have decided to give away lip balm.MeDotOrg wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 6:05 amPerhaps knowing the actual story would be more illuminating than the meme you posted.

And by the way, I was not referring to the pic of Biden looking bad, I was referring to his press secretary answering questions about Biden giving out free crack pipes. That looks bad. The meme was just a reference to the President passing out crack pipes, as usual.

A number of conservative news outlets reported that the administration would fund the distribution of crack pipes for drug users as part of a push to advance racial equality. "They were never part of the kit. It was inaccurate reporting," White House spokesperson Jen Psaki told reporters.
Safe smoking kits are one piece of equipment on a list of 20 items the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) outlined on the grant application for its harm reduction p rogram. The primary purpose of the program to reduce the risk of infection among drug users.
HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and Dr. Rahul Gupta from the Office of National Drug Control Policy issued a statement explaining the proposal.
"HHS and ONDCP are focused on using our resources smartly to reduce harm and save lives. Accordingly, no federal funding will be used directly or through subsequent reimbursement of grantees to put pipes in safe smoking kits. The goal of harm reduction is to save lives. The Administration is focused on a comprehensive strategy to stop the spread of drugs and curb addiction, including prioritizing the use of proven harm reduction strategies like providing naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and clean syringes, as well as taking decisive actions to go after violent criminals who are trafficking illicit drugs like fentanyl across our borders and into our communities. We will continue working to address the addiction and overdose epidemic and ensure that our resources are used in the smartest and most efficient manner."

Oh really? How many people did they kill on January 6?No, but his gang who attacked the White House on his support did.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
