Oh. Sweet. So link us up and we can all read this bill that says “F” your feelings and craps on free speech of white supremacists or whatever it is you mined from it. Thanks in advance.
Do your own homework you loser. I'm not here to jump through your hoops while you obtusely act the fool and ignore every question asked of you. You're not here for dialogue on any level. You're just here to troll for the Right all the while dishonestly pretending to be in the middle.
Let's break this down. I could be honestly in the middle. I could be dishonestly in the middle. I could be honestly pretending to be in the middle. I could be dishonestly pretending to be in the middle. But then again, I could be on the Right. I could be just trolling for the right. I could have the infamous Wu-Tang Clan album too.

By the way, this bill that is in Florida, the one that says it will “F” your feelings and crap on free speech, can you give us a link to it? Thank you.

Hey K Graham, I am not the enemy of your or your feelings - this guy is, however.

Meet Adam B. Coleman. He is another person that you will undoubtedly disparage. I applaud him. He is bold, and deserves the platform he is working hard to have.
Adam B. Coleman is the author of "Black Victim To Black Victor" and the Founder of Wrong Speak Publishing.
What we're seeing in progressive opposition to school choice is not support for lower income people of color; the people who are the loudest about systems failing Black Americans are in fact hindering the very change needed to positively alter the trajectory of many Black children. They find us more useful as political victims who they can pretend to care about by publicly highlighting deficiencies while privately preventing things from changing.
Maybe if you ever come up with that link, you should reach out to Adam and see what he thinks about it.

So basically Eff your feelings,
This is the appropriate course of action in a forum like this.
but crap on free speech and education if MY feelings get hurt.
No you do not get to inculcate my child in hokey woke garbage. My tax dollars go to teaching reading, writing, and arithemtic. Taxpayer funded compulsory public education should never become a bully pulpit for a particular political ideology. And that's basically what it has been for far too long.

And you don't get to have it both ways on this. You can't say that you're not teaching critical race theory in schools while simultaneously arguing that it should be a mandatory part of the curriculum.

And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

The bill in question lists many laudable goals, but given their vagueness and nonspecific curricula details, it’s arguable that this legislation is written well enough to not conflict with itself, specifically the section mentioned in the OP.

Here’s the text:

Political grandstanding by DeSantis, perhaps?

Yeah, K Graham is definitely going to not like this bill. It basically says that people can't be racists and do racist crap. He is going to HATE this. No wonder his feelings are hurt. There is a bill in a nearby state that says racist employment practices are not allowed.
760.10 Unlawful employment practices.—
(8)(a) Subjecting any individual, as a condition of employment, membership, certification, licensing, credentialing, or passing an examination, to training, instruction, or any other required activity that espouses, promotes, advances, inculcates, or compels such individual to believe any of the following concepts constitutes discrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin under this section:

4. Members of one race, color, sex, or national origin cannot and should not attempt to treat others without respect to race, color, sex, or national origin.
Hey K Graham. Just walk this one off. Do not do anything dramatic. This is Florida, and you probably were not planning to go there anyways. So, just do not worry so much if Florida does not allow racist employment practices that you like. I can see why a [deleted] like you would not like this bill, but please just stay calm and consider remaining in Georgia for now.

I’d be very surprised if this bill survived a first amendment challenge, as it purports to restrict the content of speech in a number of contexts. Conservatives have been staunchly opposed to hate speech laws, something I agree with them on. But now they are passing laws forbidding “divisive speech,” which is basically defined to mean “speech about racial issues that conservatives disagree with.” As recently as 10 or 15 years ago, having the government decide to define and regulate “divisive speech” would have been strenuously opposed by any self respecting conservative. This is cancel culture enforced by the coercive power of the state. Imagine a liberal legislature enacting laws that simply muzzled conservatives from whatever the liberals labeled as “divisive speech.” This isn’t conservative — it’s the kind of big brother authoritarianism that conservatives are against. And where is Rand Paul? This should be anathema to any self-respecting libertarian.

New Rule, Binger. Anyone who supports this kind of bill and calls himself a conservative or libertarian must dress as a clown at all times.

AND it has anti discrimination language.

New Rule. Rules are Green

I do not live in Florida. I do not support Florida bills. I think we should have fewer laws not more. But, dressing as a clown is cool.

Hey, do you mind linking us up with the section you are referencing?

The anti-discrimination is window dressing. Florida already has Anti-discrimination laws on the books. The bills sole purpose is to use the coercive power of the state to force people to stop speaking about race in a way that right-wing authoritarians don’t like. You can put some sprinkles on a turd sandwich, but it’s still a turd sandwich.

I do like the green new rule rule.

I’m seeing this as more of a watercolor wash applied to make the bill appear as if the overall intent differs from its true main thrust, which the bill’s authors waste no time laying out in Section 1.3, 1.5 and 1.7.
