Yeah this is an absolutely terrible look. If you want to advocate for Shades not step down that is one thing but this... not even remotely funny.
Indeed. I was pretty shocked that Shades decided to take a break, and I was not happy about it at all.
And now we see that precious little was accomplished thereby.

I think the jury is still out on this one. There are a lot of logistical and strategical things to sort out with something like this. I think if we can all have some patience and grace with one another things could go well.

OK. I recall plenty of times people were given a temporary break from the board in the past. I do not know exactly what that entailed, admittedly. It has also been a while since it last happened, I suppose. We'll see.

I think that was an EAllusion maneuver, but haven't seen it happen in a long time.
Also, notice that not even Markk has donated a dime to his own "cause."

I for one appreciate Shades and a free board…I set this up for those that want to stop the revolt!
What revolt? Shades knows we support him and the discussion board. He knows some of the posters fire off comments, but also knows he has their support. No troll here should ever think they have divided and conquered. We’re a family here, and stand United, no matter what assumptions may be made by any who may be ill willed.

Rome wasn't built in a day. At least give the three of us who did not see this coming a little time to huddle and try to make sensible decisions. No French revolutions!!

Now I know why I am not a mod here. Atlanticmike would have been on break weeks ago, and there would have been plenty of precedent for that. I am not exactly sure what needs to be decided, given the fact that he has been in repeated, flagrant violation of the rules and the spirit of the board for a very long time now.
