If you’re going to shoot, shoot. Don’t talk.

And I do enjoy the conversation even if the question itself is a hard pitch to swing at.

Re: Greatest Movies of All Time
in my opinion still one of the best of all times. One of the biggest highlights of Paris for my wife was getting to sit in café des Deux Moulins and act out her childhood dream of being Audrey Tautou.
This is why I struggle with these lists, the longer I can think and talk through it the more titles I need to add.

STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE
That movie has everything. It's entirely perfect in its scope and execution.

I loved the first season of True Detective, but the title of Best TV Series of All Time has to go to The Wire. Writing, acting, concept, genuine Baltimore. It had everything. Hell, it even had Idris Elba in its first couple of seasons.honorentheos wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 6:00 pmWhat's strange is I can answer, True Detective Season 1 as my definitive favorite television series of all time. I can't do that with film.

The first season of True Detective is some of the best television ever made. I love the references to the King in Yellow. It's a must read for any horror fan.Morley wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 6:43 pmI loved the first season of True Detective, but the title of Best TV Series of All Time has to go to The Wire. I think Dr. Shades might be right. It's the only movie I've watched dozens of times, and will watch again, and again, and again...Dr. Shades wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 6:15 pmSTAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE

That's a good indicator of a movie's greatness, I suppose.
