High Spy, are you okay? You've started three or four threads recently that I can't make heads or tails out of. Usually I can at least get the gist of what you are saying. I'm a little concerned.
Thank you for your concern.
I’m in SLC to say goodbye to my mother and humor helps me deal with situations. A few days ago while waiting for something I wandered into Burlington coat factory and found a 3 gray and 3 purple set of ADIDAS socks.
Purple socks were a thing and ADIDAS may decode to a humorous and truthful acronym. Anyone familiar?
Colors are very symbolic in ancient records and remain so today as the Davidic Servant has begun to stand. He invited a 7.3 magnitude earthquake. Is anyone aware how that turned out?
Thanks so much for checking in. I’m very sorry about your mother. I use humor the same way, so I totally get it.
Take good care of yourself. Death is a hard thing.
he/him we all just have to live through it,
holding each other’s hands.
Are you sure that you really want to board the plane that has mis-matched socks, or perhaps has no socks at all? (I'm not sure which would be worse.)
A bit edgy, perhaps, but, hey, you do you!
Anyone else picturing John Candy in the next seat telling you how his "dogs are barking"? Next thing you know there will be a discussion about what is and what is not a pillow.
My daughter chose a smiley foam ball from her grandmothers estate, and I lightened the atmosphere suggesting it may double as a pillow for her long bus ride back to Cottonwood Idaho. Her and my son were both shaken there on my son’s unusual birthday.
I did. They confiscated the knife in my carry on though.
Mostly now carry a small pair of needle-nose vise-grip pliers, having lost so many knives; it's perfect for solving a recurring problem, involving loose screws. Also a possible bear or bad-guy remedy.
