MSNBC Producer Admits the Obvious in Secret Video - They're All Trying To Get Kamala Elected

https://youtu.be/zgJSQUIOmH8?si=S2Osx_VfDFML6hWq
So let me get this straight. Some producer from some news station goes on a date and tries to impress some chick and...what? Should we start a thread listing all of the Trump sychophants who are now either facing charges or already found guilty of trying to help Trump hold on to power via illegal means? We could make an extra thread about the Jan 6th rioters alone.

In any case, who owns every news station and news rag in the United States and what are their political leanings, and do they use their companies to forward their personally held poltical leanings, please?

Oh and by the way, did you know that Biden gave all the FEMA money to fund housing for illegal immigrants so now there's not enough funds to provide disaster relief to victims of Hurricane Helene? Like what the crap is that about, huh? Heard it on FOX so it must be true. Lemme know when MSNBC starts shooting out false information like that and get back to me.
You seem mad. Why? Other than posting a thread that contained a MSNBC producer video, I said literally nothing. You didn't need to respond or watch the video. I posted it because I saw it Megyn Kelly (I am a huge Kelly fan and watch much of her content) to see what anyone thought - if they were interested in watching and wanted to share.

There are countless "Trump" threads - Sometimes I post in them and sometimes I don't. No worries. Are we now obligated to provide reasons and justifications for thread posting?

I don't know what you're talking about regarding Biden/FEMA/Illegal immigrants, I very rarely watch Fox. I can tell you that, from what I have seen/read about the unbelievable destruction form Helene, our government seems to be failing on an epic scale,

Thanks for sharing that, ceeboo. MSDNC is the name given to this pretty obvious fact. I watch them on occasion and it is easy to see. Just as the conservative outlets are mostly in the tank for Trump. Partisan news has been around for some time. What made me angry at MSNBC was their obvious bias against Bernie Sanders. It is perfectly clear that they consider him a nuisance who is only valuable to them for a small range of things. We can thank this bias against Sanders for getting Trump elected for his first term.

You're welcome, Kish,

No doubt.

These hate-selling outlets (there are many, although I would suggest that there are many more on the left) draw eyeballs. Drawing eyeballs = Money -It works and as long as that remains the case, they will continue to bath their viewers with what said viewers are seeking.

What's the result: An extremely divided country that sees each other as awful human beings. That's where we are and that is very concerning to me.

Disingenuous.

If you cared about the political divide as an issue rather than as a weapon against those whose views you oppose, you would have behaved differently.

Don't hide behind pretend civility, ceeboo. It's demeaning of civility and corrupts it's meaning.

lthough I would suggest that there are many more on the left
Which is patently false. Entire platforms exist virtually only for stoking outrage at "the left". Truth Social, Gab, Rumble, Stormfront, and X wants a piece of the action. Then there's all the chans, 4chan, 8chan, and so on. Not to mention email, which depending on who is in my life at the time, has been a right-wing hate distribution engine since it was invented, and there is no comparable example on the left. I've never received a "left-wing" email from anybody. Not even Kish.

The most obvious feature of 4chan is that it's totally free speech. You could be a leftist on 4chan, technically, but not many will gravitate there because what takes the oxygen are conspiracies and racial-based hate that has always been aligned with the far right. QAnon being the poster child. You might be able to say YouTube has a bias towards left and provocative left-leaning outlets like Midas Touch outnumber provocative right-biased outlets; I don't know if that's true but I grant the possibility. I would bet money, however, to the extent that it is true, it's due to terms of use, and right outrage tending to cross lines in terms of racism, fraud, and threats to public health, and so these shops move on to platforms like Rumble or Gab.

And so in terms of mainstream stuff, it may look like left outrage or more common than right outrage.

I was referring to mainstream media (MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, NY Times, Washington Post. NPR, The View, Maher, etc). I know nothing about most of these other names you cite.

Honor and Gad - Did you watch the video? If so, any thought?

I'm curious about why you think that. Is there a factual basis for this? (I'll completely understand if you choose not to address this potential derail.)

I have no comment on the video, I'm afraid. (I should mention I only watched the first minute or so.) I'm already aware that MSNBC has a liberal bias. Besides, MSNBC isn't really on my radar as a primary news source.

That said, editorial bias one way or the other doesn't necessarily bother me as long as the reporting is factual and points me to the source material so I can check for myself. This quality is what makes reporting from sources like NPR and WSJ generally reliable despite editorially leaning in opposite directions. After all, "reliable reporting" /= "anything that flatters existing beliefs." Right?

But how 'bout them Tigers? Boy howdy! (Not only is this the second derail in this post, it is also serves as a formal announcement that I will be a Tigers fan for the remainder of the post-season.)

(I am a huge Kelly fan and watch much of her content)
Megyn’s another anger merchant doing her best to whip up rage against imaginary trans and vax demons.

https://variety.com/2024/music/news/meg ... 236141178/

“I’m allowed to criticize Taylor Swift, and I don’t give a crap who gets upset,” Kelly said on her SiriusXM talk show. “This is disgusting. If she wants to vote Harris-Walz, she can do it all she wants but to say the reason she is doing it is because of Tim Walz’s stance on LGBTQ … F you, Taylor Swift. And F all of the people who want to see these children have body parts chopped off and watch them sterilized under the age of consent and then will ride off to their multi-gazillion dollar mansions, never to think of them again.”

“This pair, Taylor and her boyfriend Travis Kelce, are the epitomes of elite snobs. They both have gazillions of dollars. She doesn’t care what happens to these kids, just like he doesn’t give a crap what happens to all the young men who take the Pfizer booster he’s been pushing on them.”

Does Megyn count in the category of mainstream media? She claims 2.56 million subscribers, which is about two-and-a-half times as many daily viewers as MSNBC has.

I am stunned - absolutely stunned! My son and I (the real Ceeboo, age 23) watched game 1 and 2 together. I can't even imagine that we could have beat Houston, in Houston, the first two games to advance.

While I am super excited and all in for my Tigers, I remain very hesitant to start thinking World Series - The reality is that we are facing a legit team in Cleveland (starting today at 1pm) :) and even if we can somehow beat them in a series, I would expect the Yankees to be the next issue - and I think that is a significant issue, to say the least.

But, like I told my boy, that's why they play the games! :)
