Re: Thread for discussing climate change
Yup. Soybeans and corn. They are not going to like the climate changes we are sending them. And those of use who like a lot of meat won't like the results of soybeans and corn feeling unhappy.
Anybody changed their mind about the life-changes coming down the line? Atlanticmike perhaps?

Ceeboo, you have options. I’ve not politicized the issue in this thread and I’ve asked you directly to touch on any aspects of climate change science that you find compelling or worthy of discussion. So far, you’ve chosen to not respond.
Whaddya say?
Want to talk about this? : D

I’m going to disagree with you Ceebs, because you’re reacting to a complete mischaracterization of the conversation. Cultellus said that something another poster said was easily debunked. Then he proudly stated that he refused to debunk it. And what I said was not some great division of the board into we’s and they’s — it was a reference to people who had read the thread. Not in groups. Not out groups. Not religious groups. Not political groups. Not gender groups. Not racial groups.ceeboo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 03, 2021 7:19 pmIt's as if you were sitting in my chair, at my computer, using my duck account, when you authored this.Cultellus wrote: ↑Sun Oct 03, 2021 5:12 pmMy opinions are mine. My observations are mine. My mistakes and faults and flaws and inconsistencies are mine.
I understand many of the stupid damned things that are said on this board better with this clarification. It truly is a we/them forum, where one point of view is claiming to speak for "we" which is everyone but the person/persons with whom they disagree. Must be comforting to have such a loyal tribe and authority. I do not have that, being as I am just me and I am flawed AF.
Crazy!
And Good!
Just people who had read the thread. And it was simply the equivalent of saying “it is obvious that you have been true to your word, Cultellus.” Cuz he has.
But Cultellus used what I said to go into his usual self-righteous act to disrupt the discussion because that’s what he does.

No problem, Res. I allow for such a thing.

Not only wasn't I reacting to a complete mischaracterization of the conversation, I wasn't reacting to a conversation at all. I was commenting on the section of the post that I quoted and commented on - which had nothing to do with a conversation anywhere.because you’re reacting to a complete mischaracterization of the conversation. What solutions to climate change are reasonable?Reasonable and balanced minded people (no matter what their political ideologies happen to be) all fully understand that climate change is real and that we ought to start seriously trying to find reasonable solutions to this issue (Not completely insane proposals.)

I have a question for you. Do you believe the oceans are getting warmer?
