I don’t know, Kish. It doesn’t feel like it’s enough. We need to add in a bear.

Now that I see this . . . .

I can see Hound's point! Who would not want to look like that hunk of a wood-choppin' man?!?!?!

Trump loves his "uneducateds."

If there is a demographic that went with Trump overwhelmingly, it was "the uneducated." Ignorance is much more likely to lead to Trump votes. So, too, is a narrow focus. I know of STEM people, even in the academy, who voted for Trump because they hated DEI, and now they regret it. "Wow, we didn't know he would cut research funding! Now we wish we hadn't supported him!"

Derp.

People have lost a sense of priority, prudence, and holistic thinking. They make political decisions based not on the overall character, experience, and policy portfolio but instead on very particular issues such as DEI, abortion, taxes, or inflation.

I don't think that anyone who truly and fairly weighed Trump against Harris in a holistic way could have possibly voted for Trump. Indeed, I think the only responsible move was to vote for Harris, even if you had to hold your nose to do it, because it was already very obvious that Trump is a determined authoritarian at heart, and that his only affection for the Constitution is as a symbol that he can wrap around his virulently defective "patriotism," which is also a total sham.

by the way Kish, I watched a bit of one of your videos out of curiosity, and I thought you were doing fine - pretty good, actually. You were about to talk about why exmos are angry, and since I feel like I've got a pretty good handle on that topic, and the fact that I'm not really interested in the topic of Mormonism anymore, I stopped watching.

But I just want to point out I didn't stop watching because were weren't chopping enough wood. You looked and sounded fine to me. Maybe it's because I didn't click on it looking for you to reaffirm an immature sense of manhood.

I'm betting you run a very interesting class. I think I would enjoy a video with you talking history. Are all your videos on Mormonism?

Thank you, Schmo! Yeah, I am not sure I am interested in continuing with the Mormon videos. Honestly, I found that, as my work schedule changed, and I had to focus more on my son's final year of high school, there was no time left to make videos. I may do something else in the future, and I will let you know what that is. Great people behave like assholes when the topic of discussion is Mormonism. It is honestly more grief than it is worth, and there are much more important or fun topics.

Due to Trump's inattention and stupidity, should Musk be given the daily Presidential briefings in his stead?

There was that post you wrote a while ago about the fall of the Roman Empire and how it echoes today that I found fascinating. Videos along those lines would be interesting to me, at least.

Not that I'm looking for a video series tailored to my interests. I'm just thinking that I wouldn't be the only one who thinks you could kill in that space.

Only if your philosophy about changing diapers is that it's ok to replace one dirty diaper with another one equally soiled.

I appreciate it, Schmo. You are kind to mention these things. There are various projects that I may pursue. Ancient studies of some variety may be one. Another could be my interest in electronic music. The synth folk are also crazy, but I would probably worry a lot less about people who are dumb enough to get upset over opinions about retail merchandise.
