If the Trump worship isn't proof that churches make it up as they go along, nothing is.
There is no stronger indictment of the various American religions than their Trump worship. They completely expose themselves as full of crap. If you defend and recommend Trump, we know you're a liar, and your morality is as good as a used diaper.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense. It's also the favored cover for hypocrites.

I'm actually kind of glad there are so many religious people supporting Trump. It's people admitting they don't take morality seriously, and that their religion is a sham.
