What kills me are the Senators who weakly defend their decision to vote for acquittal by saying they hope he has 'learned' from his mistake and will not make the same mistake again. The man is a mega-maniacal 73 year old narcissist who has just been told that using the government to assure his re-election is okay.

Who in God's name is stupid enough to think that Donald Trump would learn anything from his behavior? By his own admission, this narcissist never does anything wrong. How can he learn from his mistakes if he never makes one?

Romney's religion probably is a factor in why he doesn't behave like that, and his behavior reflects comparatively well on his religious culture. There's probably a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth going on among the Mormon crowd that serves two Gods, but he served up some grade A PR for his faith on the longer view.

When Mitt Romney was disparaging the bottom 50% of the population at that $500,000 a plate Republican fundraiser, he more than established his Republican bona fides. If he were English it would have earned him a hearty "Pip Pip" in the House of Lords. Romney's valiancy in the pre-existence placed him in the Republican upper class. Sondland is the most telling member of the purge. He testified only because he was subject to a lawful subpoena. He tried to mislead on Trump's behalf, and only later and told the truth because contradictory evidence made him fear he would be caught. Trump is sending a message that even this is not acceptable.

This kind of reprisal isn't legal, but it's increasingly normalized as a thing Trump can and will do.

If as Commander IN Chief (not and chief), he wanted to know if Americans, even the vice president and his son, were corrupt and skimming off the top taxpayer funds then why didn't he use his own DOJ to investigate?

LOL...go back and read the conversation...cancakes has already stated the why to the question, and where you guys were going with t...his answer was "because there was not enough evidence," while my assertion, and Trump's, was that there is.

Do you have another reason...I have been asking you to actually articulate your argument but yo just parrot the same question over and over..but I understand, that is all go got, is a question with absolutely nothing behind it.

Nancy Reagan was appointed to the BOD of Revlon. Was it because of her advanced expertise in marketing and makeup? No. She attended Smith College in Massachusetts, where she majored in drama. The only reason she became a member of the board was because of her last name.

Henry Kissinger was also a member of the board at Revlon. Clearly an expert in Cosmetics.

Neil Armstrong became a member of Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company's board in 1973. He joined joined Thiokol's board in 1989, which is a rubber/chemical company. When Armstrong left the University of Cincinnati, he became the chairman of Cardwell International Ltd., a company that manufactured drilling rigs. What was his expertise in business management and marketing?

He just gave me a link to Hunter Biden's ABC interview which actually refutes the points he thinks he's making. I'm still waiting for Markk to source his "$3 billion" claim. Without a source its hard to understand what the hell he's even saying.

How does the link refute anything? He basically states he got the job because of his name...even liberal sources admit this if you do a simple search. If you are somehow just believing everything the guys says, without looking at the facts objectively...then I guess you are just that gullible...did you believe Bill Clinton just because on national TV he said he didn't have sex with that woman, or LOL...Joseph Smith when he said he did not have sex with those women, most every guilty person in the world says they are not guilty to avoid going to jail. Are you really that tied to your party that you blindly accept this guys word, given the piling mound of evidence? Well, it appears the answer is yes. There is more than enough evidence to request an investigation.
