Trump has to have set the record for the most fame to idiocy ratio. No person as famous as he is can be this damned stupid. He's the most stunning example of Dunning-Kruger I've ever seen.

Just listen to this from where it begins (hopefully I did that right) for about 2 minutes. It should start around 15:23. What's wrong with his speech there? I haven't finished watching the whole briefing. Does he get tired when he reads big words or something?

Trump called into Fox&Friends on Mother's Day. At the end of the interview, Trump is asked the mother of all softball questions:
Fox wrote:This Sunday is Mother's Day. What are your plans? What are you gonna do for Melania and do you have a message for all the moms that are watching this morning?
Here is Trump's message to all the Moms:
Well, we'll be together. I'm going to a Camp David meeting — a big meeting with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Camp David is this very special place that nobody ever gets to see but it's a great work environment. And we're going to have meetings on different things.

And we're going to have meetings on different things, and our military has never looked better. It's never been better. We've never had the kind of equipment that we have now.

And we had planes that were 50 years old, and more. Fighter jets — now we have the best in the world, the F-35 and the F-18, and you know, what we have is incredible.

The equipment and the people we have are great, but you know, they have to have equipment.

And we spent $1.5 trillion — really, more than that. And we've totally rebuilt our military, which you have to do. You know, I'm a very budget-conscious person. But you have to do.

The nice thing is — it's all built in the USA. And plenty of equipment coming. Lot of this equipment is coming. So it's very important that we have the best military and we have the... our military has never been in condition like it is now and soon will be.
So Happy Mother's Trump Day.

How do you read that question and answer and not come away with grave concerns about the most powerful man in the world? A response that is totally untethered to a softball question.

I've come to the conclusion that Trump's had an undetected stroke at some point. It's like his brain just lost the regular flow of blood one day, and it felt like any other day to him.

President Trump: "We're going after Virginia, with your crazy governor, we're going after Virginia. They want to take your Second Amendment. You know that, right? You'll have nobody guarding your potatoes."
Craziness like this is music to the ears of Ajax, Subgenius, Alex Jones, and Franklin Graham. They know they are listening to a man who thinks like them. A Potemkin Village of scarecrows all armed with 12 gauge shotguns is needed. That way the potatoes can get some shuteye at night.

Trump knows all about the perils of letting your guard down. He left his potatoes unguarded years ago, and now look at him.

Sorry. That was an unreasonable request. Nobody needs to see him. You're better off checking your stool after a dump.

President Trump on Thursday disclosed the results of his most recent coronavirus test, telling reporters he “tested positively toward negative.”

"I tested very positively in another sense,” Trump said on the South Lawn before departing for Michigan to visit a Ford plant assembling ventilators. “So this morning, yeah, I tested positively toward negative, right? So no, I tested perfectly this morning. Meaning, meaning I tested negative. But that's a way of saying it, positively toward the negative."

It was the weirdest thing to watch. Trump is such a Madison Avenue animal that he can't use the word negative. In mid-sentence you see his brain wrestle with the concept: Negative means bad, but the result is a good thing. Explain. Then you watch a very stable genius who knows all of the best words formulate an answer.
