Failed Democratic candidate Eric Swalwel loses control of bodily functions in the Capitol building on Live Television
So little is his esteem for the American people he is addressing and the hallowed building of our Nation’s Capitol, that he released a huge Fart mid-sentence on live television .
Yes, we’ve reached peak Clown World.
This seems like another joke in the long running impeachment gag, but it’s 100% real. The White House has commented, #FartGate is trending worldwide, and the stinky politician has already begun the process of denying it.
Here is the clip, it is so ridiculously loud that it sounds like a sound effect, however watch him pause, squint, and release as he defecates mid sentence:
Unbelievable! You know you can't come close to credibly or honestly disputing Swalwel's accusations of Trump, so you instead ridicule him for accidentally farting, which is an accident that could happen to anyone at any time. This reflects poorly on you, not Swalwel! I can't imagine anything more irrelevant to the discussion at hand than that! It shows that you really have nothing more substantial to offer than your desperation to find any excuse you can to justify your continuing worship of Trump and deflect attention from the real issues. Do you honestly believe the fart was intentional and meant to show disrespect to the American people? Incredible!
Oh my God.
I’m trying to get some work done today, guys, please. You’re killing me.
2h ago 21:02 According to his prepared opening statement, Kurt Volker only later came to appreciate that an investigation of Burisma was connected to an investigation of Joe Biden and his son.
“At no time was I aware of or knowingly took part in an effort to urge Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Biden,” Volker’s statement reads. “ I was not made aware of any reference to Vice President Biden or his son by President Trump, until the transcript of that call was released on September 25, 2019.
“Throughout this time, I understood that there was an important distinction between ‘Burisma’ and ‘Biden’, and urged the Ukrainians to maintain such a distinction. I did not know that President Trump or others had raised Vice President Biden with the Ukrainians, or had conflated the investigation of possible Ukrainian corruption, with investigation of the former Vice President. In retrospect, for the Ukrainians, it clearly would have been confusing.
“In hindsight, I now understand that others saw the idea of investigating possible corruption involving the Ukrainian company, ‘Burisma,’ as equivalent to investigating former Vice President Biden.”
Facebook Twitter 2h ago 21:00 Kurt Volker appeared to be using his opening statement to impeachment investigators to amend his closed-door testimony in which he denied knowledge of any quid pro quo in connection to the freeze on Ukraine’s military assistance.
The former Ukraine envoy claimed US officials were offering a very positive view of Ukraine as Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, painted a very different picture for Trump.
“The problem was that despite the unanimous, positive assessment and recommendations of those of us who were part of the U.S. Presidential Delegation that attended the inauguration of President Zelenskyy, President Trump was receiving a different, negative narrative about Ukraine and President Zelenskyy,” Volker said.
“That negative narrative was fueled by accusations from Ukraine’s then-Prosecutor General and conveyed to the President by former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”

Republicans might be indifferent to the concept of right and wrong in politics, but they know their farts. This was the fart heard round the world. I hope Sen. Lindsey Graham is able to subpoena that fart in the Senate trial.

So you think Biden should be investigated but not Trump's alleged bribery scheme?
Are you trolling or do you really expect to be taken as a serious individual?

In some ways there is a clear linearity to it.
Yuriy Lutsenko took the place of Viktor Shokin as Prosecutor General. Shokin was the PG that Biden told the Ukrainians they needed to remove because he was protecting corrupt individuals including the President of Burisma.
Lutsenko had served under the corrupt President Yanukovych, had been jailed for corruption himself, and pardoned by Yanukovych. He had been calling to be made PG.
Lutsenko started doing the very things Trump asked of Ukraine President Zelensky in the July 25 phone call. That being, Lutsenko had already been making claims the Bidens were part of a corrupt deal, Democrats had leveraged Ukrainians to attempt to discredit Trump and were the ones really behind any attempts to undermine US elections but against Trump not for him.
Lutsenko viewed Marie Yovanovitch as a threat as she was pushing a US and western European agenda to clean up corruption in the Ukraine.
Lutsenko started a smear campaign against Yovanovitch. This involved feeding information to Rudy Giuliani who then feed it to Trump and John Solomon of the Hill. It included accusations against the Bidens, conspiracy theories about the Crowdstrike, and that Yovanovitch was actively working against Trump.
As noted in every single testimony that has been given in the impeachment proceedings to date: Rudy Giuliani was working in the opposite direction of US Ukraine policy and undermining our ability to pursue said policy. As Kurt Volker said yesterday, "It was clear to me that despite the positive news and recommendations being conveyed by this official delegation about the new President, President Trump had a deeply rooted negative view on Ukraine rooted in the past. He was clearly receiving other information from other sources, including Mayor Giuliani, that was more negative, causing him to retain this negative view."
Volodymyr Zelensky wins election to become President of Ukraine in April 2019. He ran a wildly popular campaign claiming to be for making government work for the people, a vision that has continued to elude Ukraine even after the removal of Yanukovych in 2014. He is a wild card.
Parliament dismissed Lutsenko as PG with the change in Presidents.
Trump's team of yahoos worked to feel out and preparation new President to pick up where Lutsenko had left off to see if they can get the new President and his people to play ball, so to speak.
Trump's July 25 phone call happens.
Whistleblower alerts the nation.
Impeachment proceedings. Sondland is expected to confirm there was a quid pro quo in his testimony today. That it came to him directly from Guiliani at the direction of Donald Trump.
Now I think the real web that matters to the fate of western liberal democracy extends well beyond this incident but it's no coincidence it came back to Ukraine.
Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine until his ouster in 2014, was essentially a puppet of Russian interests and at the top of a corrupt system that stole from the Ukrainian people and siphoned off the wealth of the nation into off-shore accounts. He and others under him lived grossly opulent lives while the Ukraine crumbled as the money that should have been going into infrastructure, government programs, and otherwise benefiting the people of Ukraine instead went to by multi-story log cabins with televisions in every room including in front of the toilets.
This money is practically irretrievable due to international laws and financial structures that protect the wealthy from taxation and other corrupt thieves. A central aspect of this system includes western real estate moguls willing to take a cut of the corrupt money to help buy assets in places like London and New York, Miami and Los Angles. Ownership of those properties is typically impossible to determine as their titles are held by shell companies, owned by other shell companies, owned by other shell companies often many layers deep all of which are based in tax havens nations with extreme privacy laws whose practical only purpose is to profit off of hiding money.
Trump is a wealthy real estate mogul willing to do business with oligarchs and conmen. He is connected with Russian and other ex-Soviet block profiteers. Dot. Dot. Dot.
