The body was discovered in a diagonal direction from where the van was parked. In between, the creek bed has evidence markers dotted on the rocks that look like they zig zag--which doesn't mean anything really. But to the novice eye (which we all are) it gives the appearance/impression that he was chasing her to the other side of the creek where she was found. The creek isn't dry though. I did post photos earlier in this thread of where the body was located.
Let me try to come up with better photos for review here.
I should have been more specific. 'MOSTLY' dry creek bed. It looks like he thought (if he was thinking) that the spring runoff would wash whatever was left downstream.
It's so hard to figure because we don't know what the evidence markers actually marked. On most of the trees, it looks like bullet holes. Any of those markers (like in the rocks through the creek or the downed trees) could have been findings of anything that might be case related. Could be a hair or piece of cloth showed up on one of the trees, who knows?
As for thought and thinking. Remember that you are thinking with a fully functional brain.

This gives a pretty good view of the river bed. Yellow pin on left is sighted van location based on vlogger tip, pin on right is where her body was found
So that area in between is where the rocks are painted. She could have been running for his life or wounded, he could have been chucking rocks at her head, and I suppose he could have been dead weight carrying her.
We won't know until we see the forensics but it's hard not to speculate as you see some of these things coming out.

So let me take a moment here and plug my favorite crime youtuber again. Folks on the thread, I give you Stephanie Harlowe and her trailer for this year's Harloween!
FBI just showed up at the Laundrie's house with a paper bag presumably holding contents and went into the Laundrie's camper. Exited the home with a cooler bag.
The paper bag could have been concealing... the cooler bag.
Lil cliff hanger going on there. ^^^
ETA: Correction. FBI went in with the paper bag AND the cooler bag. Came out with just the cooler bag and they did go inside the camper.
Some sleuthy reporter, I am! Still think this requires dramatic effect--->

Over a dozen LE vehicles. One is a kind of rolling drone/communications station. They are pulling out a huge drone to put up for some reason. Huge being something like 3 feet long. No coroner's vehicle.

The Laundrie family is aiding and abetting the boy. His sister went on camera and said they had a picnic with Brian Laundrie and they didn’t discuss GP … at all.
Let me get this straight. The girlfriend you’ve been touring with, trying to build an Instagram following with, and isn’t currently with you, just doesn’t come up, at all, in conversation? Fuuuuuuuuuck you. Ain’t no sister in the history of sisters just gonna not bring up the gf as a topic, especially since she wasn’t there. No way.
