"I don't think I can keep going Doc."
"Join the Nintendo Fun Club today Mac."
Crazy dialogue.

Glad to see that not only its out, but that someone has beaten it. Its actually based upon a game called narbacular drop, and is very similar in approach, only that its a much shorter game. The guys who made that game are the ones who made portal. The link above is a free, downloadable, installable exe that can play on any machines, so you ought to play around with it. It will wet your lips for portal.
Thanks for the spoiler, by the way :D
Oh, by the way, best game ending in my mind is the original metroid, but then again, Ima mega metroid fan.

I only finished that using the Jason Bailey code.

I finished it again last year on my pocket PC. No Justin Bailey code either.

I've played narbacular drop, it was a lot of fun too. But playing it on the half-life engine was MUCH more fun. The awesome physics engine made some of the things you could do much more exciting.
However, the community-built maps on Narbacular Drop are much better, so far. Portal was such a short game, and I've been craving some new adventures, but the mapping community can only go so fast! :)
The original metroid was so difficult, I still haven't beaten it without cheating. I've done every other metroid (not the prime series yet, though. Waiting for my Wii for that) even with tons of sequence breaking, but the original metroid -- just can't get it.
Nephi wrote:Yeah, I have beaten Metroid without cheats, several times when I was a child. The funny thing was that we believed that if we could beat the game quick enough, Samus would be totally nekkid at the end instead of just in a one or two piece (LOL)....
Metroid and the original Zelda are on the tops of my list for best games of all time, along with Civilizations and Asteroids from Atari.
